"This is not a hotel. It is a guest house. People live in parts of the building, while other rooms are rented to guests. As such, there is no front desk. Our room was on the third floor, walk-up only on some steep stairs. This is not a complaint, but I include this info for people with mobility issues. The on-site manager greeted us warmly and was delightful for our entire stay. Our room was modern and comfortable, despite being in a 600-year-old building. We were just one short block away from...

"The entire experience was great. The accommodations were perfect and as advertised. The location was perfect for exploring all of Rome with short walks to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff was very helpful in everything from arranging pickup/drop off services to letting us check in a little early to allow our kids to clean up. My only feedback is that there were some light bulbs out within the apartment. It was fine for us but would have been nice to have some of the bulbs...
