Rapport qualité prix beaucoup trop élevé !
Situation exceptionnelle par contre prix beaucoup trop élevé par rapport aux services proposés : pas d’ascenseur pour monter les bagages au 3e et pas de service pour nous aider. Une lampe et un miroir dans le dressing serait un plus facilement réalisable.

Thank you for your feedback. This is a 118 year old hotel in a National park. We will never have an elevator. We do have bell service to help take luggage to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Chambre minuscule et mal équipée. Prise de courant HS. Climatisation hyper bruyante. Accès aux chambres par escalier uniquement, pas agréable encore moins avec des bagages. Beaucoup trop cher pour cette chambre. Cependant le personnel est très agréable et on a mangé une très bonne viande au restaurant.

bel hôtel mais chambre minuscule
Bel hôtel historique au bord du grand canyon enneigé. Par contre, nous avons eu une chambre minuscule pour 2 adultes sans aucune vue et heureusement que c'était juste pour une nuit !

We apologize for the size of your room however it just depends on what type of room you book. If you need a larger room I would suggest booking a Deluxe room, that may be better for you. We do hope you will come back and visit us again.

The property is continently located in the Grand Canyon village. However these is no dedicated parking, even though parking is close it fills up quickly. This is a shame as they could easily make of dedicated as there is plenty of parking for other visitors who don’t have luggage. The room was great and very comfortable The staff could have been more helpful and available. Upon arrival a man at the desk asked if they could help and we said we’d like to check in but he then said he couldn’t help as was doing something time sensitive. When checking out there was no one at reception and no clear instructions as to whether to wait or leave our key cards on the counter

Best place to stay for a Grand Canyon trip. No need to drive in and wait in line. You just wake up and walk outside. Also fun to go look at the stars over the canyon at night.

Perfect location for hiking and exploring the canyon. Great to come back and enjoy the restaurant and comfortable lodge. Highly recommend staying here. Lots of history.

We couldn't get a parking spot after we checked in. For the amout the tiny room cost id expect parking near by.

This hotel is right on the rim of the Grand Canyon, so you have spectacular views if you just step out the back door. The dining room was excellent, but we only were able to have breakfast there, because it was all booked up for dinner. We booked the hotel only maybe a month in advance, so the only room available was a "standard room" with a queen bed. The room was quite small. Also, the hotel has apparently subscribed to the post-pandemic idea that daily housekeeping is not necessary. (I was told later that I could've asked for this, but I wasn't told that when we checked in.) We were there for three nights. When I went to the front desk after two nights and asked if there would be any housekeeping, I was informed it was "every three days". We could of course get extra towels, and they were brought promptly, but the result of this kind of housekeeping schedule is dirty glasses and towels around your (small) room. Si my overall impression was - great location, but the room - meh.

Get the glimpse of what it was like in the 1900’s. The Fred Harvey story rings true. Basic amenities, but very upscale and yes, there is WiFi. 10 out of 10. The staff was amazing, the building is living history

I didn’t care for the size of the bed, for two people a double bed, kind of small. Also the room was small, but that was okay. Checking in, they said they’d call when the room was ready, but no one did. The bar had people wait outside and no one came to tell you they had a spot. It was odd.

Great place to stay inside the park, and views of the Grand Canyon were breathtaking. The only negative was dinner in the main restaurant. The service was ok, but the food really wasn't that good for the price. We ordered both of our steaks medium rare but they came out nearly raw. The broccolini was also tough and really undercooked.

Yet another trip of a lifetime
This was either a first or second time to the south rim but we had never stayed in El Tovar. How lucky we were this time to be able to stay there for three nights. Initially the room we had was not conducive to being disabled, but Gabe from the front desk moved us for the second and third night to an ADA magnificent room. On the first floor right near the exit. A walk-in shower. Just what we needed to make this a perfect trip. Of course, the Grand Canyon itself is beyond compare. We are hoping to be able to get back there. We had three dinners which were wonderful. The breakfasts were great also, as was the lounge next to the dining room.

Rooms were nice with a comfortable bed, bathrooms cramped (due to the age of the hotel). Restaurant food was very good, and very expensive. But all this pales to the location and having the Grand Canyon right outside your door to explore at all hours. Stars were incredible on a clear night! Would do this again!

Absolutely stunning place to stay & dine plus mere feet from rim of canyon. Sadly it snowed & was foggy or we would have had canyon view from room & dining room. Room was cozy but everything we needed. Excellent staff in lounge & restaurant. Loved learning the history too! Also a perfect central location to enjoy trails in both directions.
