It’s quiet and peaceful in a mangrove alcove, a 5 minute dinghy ride between the boat and main campground dock, bathrooms, shower, laundry, parking. Get the dinghy. « My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay on the Bonne Vie (which means "Good Life" in French). It was the good life for us - he was able to fish off the back and I read books on the front of the boat. When it got too hot we could jump in the water to cool off! « What a great place to relax! We really enjoyed our stay at this little getaway. It was perfectly situated between the Keys and Everglades. If you like to fish, there are tons of little fish to be caught off the dock. I really appreciated the kayaks and spent every morning fishing from them. The little house was very clean and well laid out. AC was extremely good at keeping us cool. We can't wait to make a return trip. »

« After our last visit Summer 2023, we returned for 5 nights mid March. It was another incredible stay with all of the amazing accomodations. Pirate's Cove is the perfect get-away spot for us. We were able to fish right there and caught plenty of fish to cook up for our last night's dinner. We slept very comfortably; it felt like maybe the mattress was replaced/upgraded since last summer. « Beautiful home. Excellent amenities. Quiet. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away from it all. Pickleball court was a great surprise. We rented a kayak and paddle boards from a place in Islamarada. They delivered and picked up. Getting food was a bit of an expected challenge so plan accordingly. Would definitely rent again. »

« Our family stayed here July 4th week for a fishing/beach trip. Location was great, and we rented the 21 foot boat as well for a few days. Condo was clean and just the right size for our family. Blackout shades were nice, and helped keep the temperature inside down. Used the kayaks one day, saw a manatee near the dock and a young alligator (crocodile?) in the mangroves. »
