« A nice hotel in a convenient location for Keswick. We had a deluxe room. Some of the furniture looked a bit tired but overall ok. A little concerned over how the full length sash window opened from floor level - no 'security' to prevent things falling out, especially children. We had DB&B deal. Quality of evening meal was good but felt it was served up without any breathing space between courses. For the price, felt breakfast should have been freshly cooked rather than buffet style....

« If I had read my emails before arrival I would’ve found out about the parking being over the road but even so, staff at reception gave me all the information I needed and allocated a permit for us. « Friendly and polite staff from reception to bar/restaurant to housekeeping. Beautiful decor giving all public areas a sense of comfortable style and an upmarket but ´ at home ´ feeling. « We had three nights in executive room which was huge and had nice jacuzzi bath with rainfall shower over it. The bed was very comfortable. Yes, blinds were old but they worked! Bed linen was good quality and towels were nice and fluffy. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, super yogurts, cereals, assorted teas and cooked breakfasts were an excellent. Dinner only served Wednesday to Saturday. We booked for 6.30 on our last night. We had a VERY long wait for our meal but our waitress (I think...

« Agriculture Inn is a gem! The owners are on site and give personalized attention with a smile! The room was so clean, the food and ale was so delicious, and the castle ruins are across the street. They have a nice beer garden that is well attended by locals and feels very relaxed and comfortable. Not crazy or noisy, just a nice local feel. The bathroom was very small but not an issue for us. I would definitely go back! The history of the building is also very interesting. »

« I had a single room which was a good size, comfortable and furnished with an armchair, desk, chest of drawers and a wardrobe, which is more than you get in a good many hotels. There was also a good sized and well equipped shower room. My only criticism is their choice of coffee, which could be improved considerably. All the parts of the hotel that I visited were scrupulously clean and there was a friendly and efficient team on hand 24/7. »
