« Good to stop for a night or 2 max, lovely staff and average drink prices. 1 bathroom shared between all the rooms (heads up) and the same with the kitchen facility. Best place roundabout is Dans Goods in Guardbridge, good rolls! (bit of a walk if you don't drive - ps. Won't get food in the hotel) »

« Though the hotel was not busy, we were put in what could only be described as a tiny children’s adjoining room, with a window so covered in bird poo it was impossible to see out of! Not what I have come to expect from a luxury hotel. »

« First of all the 'positive' aspect. The property is on North St so close to the Old Course for golfers and within easy walking distance of the beach and shops and there is a very pleasant walled garden at the back. There are, however, far more negative aspects. First of all the extremely unpleasant smell of fried food which permeated the property from the moment we walked in to the entrance hall and extending up to our bedroom and bedroom. « I loved staying at The Dunvegan. First of all, the staff was outstanding. They were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean, and my room was kept in prime condition. The breakfasts were yummy, and one night I ate in and the fish and chips were the best I've had. The hotel was central, so I could walk everywhere with ease. If I return to St. Andrews, The Dunvegan will be my first choice of where to stay. Thank you! »

« Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!! »

« Lovely weekend away. Lodge was beautiful and spotlessly clean. High chair and travel cot were provided, both in excellent condition. Resort and surrounding area are well worth a visit. Communication from owners was very good, Lorraine answered all my questions promptly. »

« The host Annette is very nice and helpful. Her cuisine is excellent for breakfast and dinner. Room is clean and beds really comfortable. Nice walk to the beach and close to golf course. Highly recommend. »

« We had a great time during our weekend stay. The resort was very peaceful and has a lovely little coffee shop as well as other amenities that we didn't get round to using. The place was very clean and neat and the check-in and out was easy via a lockbox. The beds are very small (can't be helped given the size of the caravan), we did have 5 adults staying but even the shortest of us on the stay had their feet hanging off the edge - aside from the size they are comfortable enough to manage a night...
