« Great service from staff and great facilities. We especially enjoyed the spa and our very comfortable stable room on the upper floor of the hotel with lovely courtyard view. It was my birthday treat and Borringdon even had a card and miniature bottle of gin as a welcome gesture, which was much appreciated. »

« The Tavistock House Hotel is a little gem within a world heritage listed historic stannary market town. We were warmly greeted by our host and escorted to a lovely decorated and well appointed room. A good choice of local eatery's is available within a short stroll. A tasteful continental breakfast was available to ready us for a day sightseeing in the town and local area. Highly recommended. »

« Lovely little cottage, well equipped . Friendly hosts. Really appreciated the welcome pack with Milk , teabags, biscuits etc , thank you 😍 Parking space is a bit tricky to access via a narrow drive , but not enough to stop us wanting to go back . Jack and Jill bathroom accessed from both bedrooms but one of the doors didn't lock properly so if travelling as friends need to know when the other is in the bathroom 😂 Overall really loved it here and would definitely go again »

« We loved the Thomas Hardy connection, the history and the stories that Chris told us about the location and history. We loved the friendly atmosphere, warm welcome, and we felt more like family than tourists. We loved the room, the location, and the peace and quiet.loved the attention to detail and the sustainable and ecological energy and food production - so inspiring.
