« The temperature in my room was 17° and never went above 18° despite my request. So a fan was snoring all night. The shower was cold too. and the light was dim at night. I was afraid of crossing a polar bear! Location is great if you attend an event at Telford International. »

« Some great walks from here and lovely and quiet. Room was on the smaller side, but super clean and a decent size en-suite. Having a fridge was great. »

« An interesting pub with decent food, ideally situated for the iron bridge 10 mins walk away, and the museums . My room was comfortable and warm enough given the -5c outside. it had a part glass floor with industrial archeology visible through it. »

« Lady on reception who checked me in on the afternoon of the 15th March and out on the morning of the 16th March was extremely friendly and welcoming. Staff in the restaurant also very friendly, making for a great stay. Good quality room and amenities! »

« I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. »

« Great stay in Ironbridge - easy parking across the river - Good food. Old building so not soundproof rooms, but a great stay in a top location by the river »

« We really liked the location and building. Clean and tastefully decorated. Although some patches of wallpaper need sticking down. We collected our delicious pork pie from downstairs. Not keen on the key collection system as the little car park infront is busy and entering the building and then having to get into the keysafe to get the car park key was a bit stressful. We were dissapointed that there was scaffolding on the building (so not a seamless view of the bridge) and roof work starting...

« The proprietors were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. The church clock tower behind is a good reference point. A lovely place in a great area. »
