« This property has been obviously set up for rentals w/o anybody trying to live there. For example, the light in the bathroom is super bright and motion activated -- imagine going there at night... and the sensor doesn't "see" the shower, so the light goes off just as you've shampooed your head. The kitchen isn't equipped for cooking (no functional knives, only one pan and a huge one at that, some drawers cannot open because they run into handles of others, no dish soap provided and exactly one...

« Beautiful apartment in lovely, historic building. Extremely tasteful furnishings with fantastic mullioned windows. Very scenic spot with gorgeous views and a very pretty town- Rothbury. Super walks from the house and only 25 minutes from very sandy Alnmouth beach. Our dog loved it all and we, as well as him, were made to feel very welcome by the owner in our communication. »

« Flat was in an excellent location for us being just across the road from a lovely dog friendly beach with a cafe that did fabulous breakfasts. We were very happy with our stay and the owner was easy to communicate with. However I will mention that the outside area is very scruffy and bins were overflowing with lots of bottles on the floor. The flat itself was clean and tidy although inside bin hadn’t been properly emptied from previous tenants. Mattress on double bed could probably do with...

« Great spot and really well appointed property. Just next to craster arms and saltwater cafe so handy for eating and drinking. The property was slightly let down by the lack of things like hand soap, washing up liquid , cloths etc but that is being picky. We did have to reset the boiler as other guests have also had to do. Worked fine after that. Over all a lovely spot to stay in. »
