"Van alle gemakken voorziene woning met gezellige veranda en grote tuin. Mooie plek om in de avond buiten te zitten en daar nog een klein vuurtje te maken op de vuurschaal. Ook de buiten barbecue is prima ! Het zwembad is super, wat een luxe om die bij je huis te hebben. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en te doen , van pittoreske dorpjes tot wandelen en kanoën. De historische hoofdstad Limoges is ook zeer de moeite waard om een keer bezoeken! Wij hebben een hele mooie vakantie gehad !!"

There is a tiny table with two chairs outside the door and a larger space with garden furniture under a canopy further down the garden, although this would be more comfortable if it could be contrived to put it on level ground. "Hébergement très calme pour pouvoir s'échapper du quotidien anxiogène parisien. Les hôtes ont été super, bienveillants et accueillants. Il y a un espace extérieur imposant où nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps (sans compter la piscine) avec mes amis, que ce soit pour manger, jouer au ballon, ou juste bronzer. Attention, la voiture est indispensable :)"

"Piece, quiet and relaxed. Immaculate house and gardens with great pool. Everything that could be needed was in the house. No noisy neighbours or busy roads. Walking distance to the river creuse and waterfalls. Marc the owner was at the end of the phone if needed and messaged a couple of time to make sure everything was fine and was there to meet us and show us the layout on arrival. Could not fault."

Lots to keep the children entertained in the games room, plus the covered pool was lovely and warm. We’ve stayed in lots of gites, and this one is by far the best. "Deze gîte bestaat niet. De advertentie gaf geen huisnummer. Wij hebben aangeklopt bij het enige huis in deze straat. Dit huis leek onbewoond.(stoffig en vuil) Ik heb rondgevraagd of er een gîte in de buurt was, maar niemand wist ergens van. Van de "eigenaar" heb ik nooit een telefoonnummer gekregen, hoewel ik daar expliciet om gevraagd heb. Gelukkig hebben we na lang zoeken een chambre d'hôte gevonden 20 km verderop, maar mijn geld ben ik kwijt..."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre location et avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Max le propriétaire. Un panier de bienvenue personnalisé. Des chambres à thèmes. Une grande cour pour manger dehors et laisser les enfants jouer. Le village est petit mais tout est présent : supérette, boulangerie, boucherie, bar tabac. Nous conseillons les activités du lac de Saint pardoux! En brefs un moment très appréciable !"

Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking. "The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "
