The Trailhead: Easy No-Stair Entry #3107

Welcome to The Trailhead! Enjoy a comfortable stay in this upscale first-floor condo with a lovely view of the ski slopes. Perfect for a getaway, it accommodates up to 4 adults with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master suite features a stylish ship-lap headboard and a king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers additional sleeping space. The modern kitchen is well-stocked with updated cabinets and appliances, making it ideal for preparing meals and entertaining. Step outside to your large private deck to take in the fresh mountain air. Conveniently located with easy parking and **NO STAIRS!**

**Things to Do in Beech Mountain:**
1. **Skiing and Snowboarding:** Hit the slopes at Beech Mountain Ski Resort during the winter for a variety of runs suitable for all skill levels.
2. **Hiking Trails:** Explore the scenic hiking trails in the warmer months, such as the Emerald Outback or the Beech Mountain Parkway.
3. **Mountain Biking:** Take advantage of the local mountain biking trails for an exciting ride through beautiful landscapes.
4. **Local Breweries:** Visit nearby breweries and sample local craft beers for a taste of the region.
5. **Summer Festivals:** Check out local events and festivals during your stay, featuring music, crafts, and local produce.

**Important Information:**
- While we appreciate access to the amenities at The Pinnacle Inn, please note that we have no control over their management. The Pinnacle Inn reserves the right to close the pool and other amenities at any time for maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but cannot offer discounts in these instances. Thank you for your understanding.
- **Firewood & Vehicle Requirements:** Please bring your own firewood if you plan to use the fireplace. In case of inclement weather, an all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 vehicle is recommended, and snow chains may be necessary.
- **Check-In Details:** Check-in is available after 4 PM. We are available to address any issues until 9 PM, so we recommend arriving before that time for a smooth check-in.
- **Towels & Amenities:** We provide bath towels but not pool towels. If you plan to use the resort amenities, please bring your own pool towel.
- **Pool Maintenance:** The pool and all amenities will be closed for annual maintenance during the month of April. VoyagePad does not guarantee the timing of the reopening, as we do not manage these facilities.
- **Returned Items Policy:** A $25 fee plus shipping will apply for any returned items.

Great Family Getaway
We had a great Labor Day weekend. Got in Friday and headed to Boone for the app game Saturday then relaxed through Monday. The kids loved the pool area and the friendly deer that came by the back porch. There were other negative reviews about the AC units being too big by that is honestly being picky as we stayed in a unit with no AC last year and it was miserable. The two floor units kept the space so comfortable. The place was clean and very well decorated. Would love to stay again.

Overall- place was great- it was smaller in person than it appeared in photos. Part of the problem- in particular with the queen bed room- was the huge air conditioner; loved having it- but very much made space tight.

We were excited about our stay. Upon arrival at the very top of the mountain we were pleased at the view all the way up. Beautifully decorated it was a nice site. Stocked well with most anything you may need for your stay. Able to see dear and a wood chuck outside the balcony window. Next time would like to be there in winter with the fire place going. One thing I would like to point out is the sliding door opened from the outside while locked from the inside. Main bathroom had a dirty wash cloth left and a makeup sponge on the floor, neither item belonged to us. Thank you for our stay.

We stayed in this unit for a wedding at overlook barn. The location was perfect! It was my partner, myself and mother in law. With two bathrooms, we were able to be very private and have common space as well. We even hosted extended family from the hotel for drinks, snacks and catching up. The unit was great. We had an issue with the heat not turning off. However, we found a quick fix (turning off the breaker). And they came with a permanent fix the next morning. Very quick response and easy to work with. Everything was very clean, had everything listed and more. Check in and out was simple and easy. The outside could use a little updating. Has a beautiful courtyard that has potential but is currently very bland. We were unable to use the pool and other common areas for maintenance. We were aware of this ahead of time and by no means lowered our review. I just can't give a proper review on this. Overall would use and recommend this unit.

Very nice updated condo in Perfect location
We really enjoyed our two night stay while skiing Beech Mountain! The unit is updated and decorated very nicely with lots of extras! They really thought of their guests needs! We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed this condo. Came supplied with everything we needed, was very clean, and is a great location. We’ve stayed at Pinnacle before, but in a 3rd floor unit, so we opted for the 1st floor this time to avoid dragging everything up three flights of stairs. That was a bonus, but the downside was noisy walkers upstairs (they woke us up most mornings), but nothing the property owner can do about that. The property is just minutes from the slopes and sledding hill. Definitely a great location. Would highly recommend!

First time to Banner Elk/Beech Mountain. And we loved it!! The condo is great. Very clean and well equipped. Even had firewood for fireplace even though we didnt use it, it was a nice add.

Great location
It was nicely appointed and most rooms were very spacious. Closets had great space. The only things I can complain about is, a lot of the lightbulbs were burned out. Very hard to sit and read anywhere. I think every room had lightbulbs not working. I hate to use overhead lights. Also, it isn’t central air. You have these two big air conditioning units in each bedroom that took up floor space. One made it hard to actually get in the bed on one side in the 2nd bedroom. The compressor goes off and on during the middle of the night which will wake you if you are a light sleeper. We ran the air conditioners during the day to cool the rooms then we tried not to have to run them at night. That is a solution. They do have ceiling fans which can circulate the air. The air conditioners and lightbulbs are really my only complaints. We did enjoy our stay.
