四合院のホテル。一度体験する価値大いにあり！高級ホテル
共同バスルームの表示でしたが、室内にシャワーブース（ヨーロッパのホテルにあるような）有り。トイレ・洗面は共同。バックパッカー向きだがファミリーには通常の部屋もある。

Decent Hotel, Tricky To Find (DIRECTIONS HERE)
The hotel is clean; the building is old but well-maintained. My room had a hot shower, towels, a hot water heater, four mugs, a bar of soap, toilet paper to bring with me to the hole in the floor down the hall, slippers, and a TV. I had the heater set to max but the room was never hot. I slept with socks and bulky clothing and felt warm that way. (I stayed in March) The room was filled with frosted windows so when it was light outside, the room was pretty lit up (bring eyeshades). Also it faced the courtyard and could be loud (bring earplugs). LOCATION! The location is great, but is difficult to find - narrow roads and cabs don't really fit. Here are the directions I wish I had... Have a cab take you to Kings Joy Hotel on No. 81 Meishi Street. (Print the name/address in Chinese.) When facing King's Joy, walk left. Take the first right at the 50 km/hour sign (which will be at the second blue "public restroom" sign). When you get to the first fork in the road, go left. Then hug the right until you see that big white circular sign on the left. I rated this hotel with 3/4/5 stars, not because I think it is a 3/4/5 star hotel, but because for it's category of being a budget hotel for Chinese travelers, it was quite satisfactory. It's a 1-star hotel, but if you're on a budget, it's just fine.

Terrible everything
Avoid at any cost. Everything is terrible in this hotel. Couldn't find myself the hotel itself. Restroom is outside and just disgusting.

Budget hotel.
Het hotel is aan te raden, maar alleen als je van plan bent om weinig tijd daar door te brengen en als je niet zolang van plan bent er te verblijven. Toiletten heb je niet in de kamer (tenminste kamer waar ik in zat en het zijn hurk toiletten) en de kamer had geen gordijnen, wat ik in het begin niet prettig vond en de bedden zijn niet zo comfortabel. Personeel is vriendelijk wil helpen alleen praten niet Engels. Heb ondanks dit wel een prettig verblijf in beijing gehad de locatie van het hotel is echt top! Op loopafstand van de tianmen plein, vredes plein, verboden stad, shopping street en de metro/bussen.

The hidden hotel
I had a two day trip to Beijing and stayed one night at this hotel. The hotel is very basic, below any star ranking. The most difficult part is to find the hotel. The location on the hotel page is incorrect, GPS address is incorrect, maps do not find the address, taxi drivers do not know about it. I spent two hours walking around trying to find it one way or the other. Then I got a taxi and the driver bought me to another hotel of the same chain. Then I got another taxi driver who spoke to the woman from this hotel for quite some time, then drove me back and showed some dark narrow road. I went about 200 meters and did not find anything. Then I found a message on my phone in Chinese, which I could not understand, but there was some link. When I opened the link, I found it was a link to a location on the map which appears to be the correct place. The location is convenient, close to Tienanmen square. The service is satisfactory. If I had not spent more than two hours finding the hotel, I would probably have been happy with it.

Poor hotel, poor service
Difficult to find - taxi driver had no clue, in the middle of residential area, no other hotels knew where it was either, including those in the same chain - and then a terrible stay. It is a smoking hotel, people will happily be smoking under a no smoking sign, 2 toilets for 2 floors of rooms. We refused to stay the second night we'd booked. The staff that we encountered did not speak a word of English so communication was through translation on phones but they suddenly understood absolutely nothing when we complained. Definitely would NOT recommend!

No ENGLISH & LAZY stffs
All staffs never speak English at all. They kept use i-phone to translate to me even in order to say "No". Especially one of the staff who has short hair, that one is so rude badly. They took my time about two hours just to check in. OMG. that is not hotelllllllll, just HELLLLLLLL. Do not go to the HOTEL. Just go to other domitory backpackers accommodation. Oh also they are getting renewal on their building, it was sooo noisy and they dont have elevator evethough their building is 6floors. The stsffs ignore all foreign customers, they got local people first. I was really upset!!!
