« Bear’s Den is a great getaway home tucked away in the woods with a screened in patio that is great for peace and quiet, bird watching, or sipping your morning coffee. Bill and Doris showed great hospitality with communicating after booking, prior to our trip and the day we arrived. The house was very clean and supplied with lots of needed amenities and beds very comfortable. The game room was enjoyable with pool table. « This may have been one of my favorite homes to stay in the Juniata College area! We were visiting our son for Easter from Philadelphia. The house is clean, kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, glasses etc. The game room was fun. Good for young kids & older more adult kids. Location was great for our dog walks. Communication was quick with the owner or agency. Check in and out procedures were very easy & simple. Will definitely try to stay here again!! Thank you Aunt Susie!! »

Raystown was the destination of choice this year, and this house checked the boxes we were looking for. The location is perfect. Out of the way, but a quick drive up to Huntingdon, or down to the main marina and recreation area at Raystown.
