Enjoy the ultimate mountain retreat in this very private traditional log cabin filled with charm - minutes from historic tourist destination of Bethlehem, with Bretton Woods and Cannon ski areas just a short drive away! Surrounded by nature and immersed in the beautiful sound of rushing waters from the Black Brook, which flanks the property, and the Ammonoosuc River along the road, it's a wonderful retreat to recharge, relax, explore, and seek adventure from. Walk down to the river for a refreshing dip or to catch a trout, roast marshmallows on the large firepit, relax grill and dine on the large deck, then step inside this fully renovated authentic log home and soak in its charm. And your pup can come along with you, as this home is pet friendly!



The 2 level home features 4 bedrooms. Two of these on the upper level feature queen beds, and the other on the upper level has two twins. An additional downstairs room has a Twin-over-Full bunkbed and a Twin-over-Twin Bunk Bed. You will walk in from the covered porch, overlooking the woods and the rushing waters of the Black Brook and the Ammonoosuc River. Inside, it has been completely redone with main-level renovations completed in 2024. The kitchen includes modern black stainless appliances, including a dishwasher, a dining table for 5 plus 3 additional countertop seats at the kitchen island. A dual drip-style and keurig coffee maker is available as well as a french press. A propane grill, loungers, and a large outdoor table are available on the deck, as well. In addition to the bathroom and the three bedrooms, this level also includes a small living area with large Roku TV with Sonos sound bar and a cozy wood stove to keep you warm.



But that's not all! Downstairs you will find an additional living area with another Roku TV, a dry bar and table, and a convenient pellet stove to warm you up on a cold evening after a day on the slopes. Here you will also find the convenience of a washer and dryer. In the future, this area will include an additional bathroom - but for now, that area is not for guest use.

-Guest will be required to sign a rental agreement to comply with insurance requirements. You can view a sample agreement on our website.

-Check-in: Any time after 4PM; Check-out: 11 am. Unauthorized early arrivals or late checkouts subject to $100/hr fee.

-No Unauthorized Guests or Pets: Guest and pet count must match the number in your reservation. Please let us know if the number has changed. Unauthorized pets or guests subject to $300 fee and immediate termination of your stay with no refunds. Absolutely NO PARTIES without express authorization. Pet fee for pet friendly units ($100/pet per stay) is not included in Airbnb quotes.

-Quiet Hours: From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., please keep noise to a minimum. During the day, please make sure noise levels are low enough not to bother others, and never leave a barking dog unattended! No fireworks on property. A $100 fee may be imposed for violations of these rules.

-No smoking inside the unit; $250 fee for violation.

-We are in Bear Country! No trash or food is to be left outside at any time; $100 fee for violations.

-Some of our homes are equipped with exterior cameras for security purposes.

-We have relaxed our cancellation policies. However, please note that there will be no exception to these policies, for no reason, no matter what the circumstances. Travel insurance is available on our website and from a variety of other sources; it is the traveler's responsibility to decide whether to protect their purchase or not. Due to contractual obligations with property owners, we will not be able to make any exceptions under any circumstances.

-Our homes are in rural locations in the North Country. We live in a beautiful environment surrounded by pristine natural habitats, and share this land with a variety of animals. We do our best to ensure a proper balance between pest control and health concerns and appreciate your patience if a critter may find its way in. Our team is always available to come take care of it. To help prevent issues, please refrain from leaving doors propped open and avoid leaving food in open space which could attract rodents and/or insects.
- Rates are based on standard occupancy of 2 guests per bedroom. Additional guests, if allowed in the specific property, incur a $25/per person nightly surcharge. As long as the correct number of guests is provided at booking, this is included in the total rate shown at booking! Children under the age of 2 do not count toward occupancy.

Honeymoon Retreat
What a great place for a romantic get away. After getting married on Friday, 6/21, my wife and I wanted a getaway spot where it felt like we were all alone. While close to a lot of fun “things to do”, we felt this place fully met our expectations. While some parts of the house was under construction, the areas we had direct access to were very nice. We loved staying here and appreciated the booking agents checking in with us from time to time, to ensure that everything was in good order.
