Gold Mountain is a thoughtfully designed home that prioritizes guest experience. The interior features three spacious bedrooms and two well-appointed bathrooms, ensuring ample room for families and groups. The master suite boasts a king bed, a private bathroom with a vanity, and a cozy reading nook, all while providing access to the backyard through a sliding patio door. The queen guest bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, a reading chair, and a smart TV for relaxation. The bunk room is a delightful space featuring two full-size beds, perfect for extra guests.

Please note, however, that the property is located near the flight path of the small Big Bear Airport, which means aircraft may be overhead at times, creating some noise. Additionally, ongoing construction behind the property may be another factor to consider.

The Neighborhood:
Gold Mountain is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Big Bear City. There are a few gas stations within a couple miles and also a local market that has a lot of the staples. The property is also located close to Gold Mountain.
The house is about a 15-minute drive to Big Bear Lake and the village.
Getting Around:
You'll probably be driving up the mountain! Be sure to put the "E" in for the address.
Other Things to Note:
**Please note that OUTDOOR MUSIC IS PROHIBITED PER CITY ORDINANCE. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People's noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. ANY FINES RELATED TO CITY ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS WILL BE PAID BY THE GUEST.
** SECURITY HOLD IS $750 AND WILL BE PROCESSED 5 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND RETURNED ON CHECKOUT DAY POST INSPECTION FOR DAMAGES (Does not apply to Airbnb reservations)**

This includes wiping down any and all items that guests, owners and service providers come into contact with, including keys, doorknobs, tabletops, appliances, electronics, and light switches. As well as sanitized soft surfaces and upholstery.
Re-washed Dinnerware
Housekeepers re-wash all dinnerware, including dinner plates, glasses, coffee cups and silverware, between arrivals.
We have very high standards for our property and expect it to be spotlessly clean and ready for your arrival. If you find anything to be not up to scratch or if there are any items missing, please inform us as soon as possible.
**Cancellation Policy & Travel Insurance Recommendation
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have a clear cancellation policy in place:
• 100% Refund – Guests may cancel their reservation within 48 hours of booking for a full refund.
• 50% Refund – After the 48-hour period, guests will receive a 50% refund if canceling at least 30 days before check-in.
• No Refund – Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Because life is unpredictable, we strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect their investment. Once a reservation is confirmed, we offer guests the option to purchase travel insurance, which can provide coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that we must adhere to our cancellation policy since the property is reserved exclusively for each guest, making it unavailable to others. If you have existing travel insurance through a provider or credit card, we recommend reviewing your coverage.
