La randonnée est un passe-temps populaire dans la région d'Aska Adventure et vous trouverez de nombreux sentiers accessibles en voiture, tels que Stanley Gap à quelques kilomètres. La région regorge d’activités fluviales, y compris la natation et le tubing - vous pouvez louer des tubes au Toccoa Wilderness Tubing quelques kilomètres plus loin. Great Thanksgiving Trip to Blue Ridge
Place as advertised. Great location right on the river. Everything worked as it should. The kids want to go back in the summer when they can jump in the river. We’ll be back.

Disappointed
Great location on the river but this place needs a lot of TLC, (maintenance), We received a message that we could get into the cabin earlier than the normal check in time, Great, but when we called about a major problem , the lady told me to vacate the cabin promptly. The code to the front door did not work. wrong code, wrong instructions, not sure. But we could still entered the cabin thru the unlocked sliding glass door. Next day we received a new code, with new instructions. and easy to enter the cabin. I may well be better if we could talk with someone who can actually correct sone issue with this cabin. We still had a good time In Blue Ridge and we usually do. We have stayed in many cabins thru the years and will continue to do so. Alex

Girls Trip 2022
Went for a girls trip to get away from everything and this was the PERFECT place. Cabin was warm and inviting. The front porch is the best along with the view of the river. So calming and peaceful. The porch could stand be be pressure washed and cleaned, but other than that, the place was perfect. Exactly what we needed and expected for our girls trip.

We were a bit saddened about the actual lack of a fishing spot out front...wasn't very cleared out...same with the firepit area...could use some quick TLC. A rake or shovel would have been handy...as well as a "hey...here's a place to pick some up on your way in.." or to have it there would have been awesome. The screened in porch was amazing...but the hot tub was down so we didn't get to enjoy that aspect. Loved being on the river . Was very relaxing

A fantastic property with two glaring shortcomings....
This is a beautiful, spotlessly clean property in a wonderful area. We would gladly stay there again, once two glaring issues are addressed: -None of the windows had any window coverings. No drapes, no blinds; nothing. The guest bedroom bathroom was basically unusable as it faces the house next door 15 yards away. This bathroom window, uncovered, made the toilet and shower unusable. Also, no sense in trying to sleep in as the sun lit up the master bedroom fairly early. -The master bedroom bed needs to be replaced. We're not sure if it's the mattress, the box spring, or both. But it's so worn out that it was almost like sleeping in two side-by-side hammocks. That, and the frame and headboard both need to have all of their bolts tightened (it all creaked and shifted at the slightest movement). Of note, the guest bedroom bed was clearly fairly new and quite comfortable and supportive. We'd gladly stay there again if the 2 issues above are addressed. The place has a clean, rustic feel, and the view from the porch onto the Toccoa River is spectacular. And you're only 20 minutes from Blue Ridge.

Review of River’s Edge
It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. For the most part, it was very clean but the large decorative pillows in the smaller bedroom smelled of urine. Also, the two throw rugs in the small bathroom really smelled bad so I just put them in the laundry room. We could not understand how to use the smart TV and thus had no TV to watch. There should have been instructions placed out. There were no instructions for the hot tub either. We had no idea how to turn it off or even to lower the temperature which we were asked to do upon departure. I had called Vacasa about it but didn’t really get a response. We did not use the hot tub. The location and view were as promised; outstanding! The river was lovely and it was such a treat to have our “ happy hour” sitting and gazing upon it. We really did enjoy Blue Ridge and Elijay as we had never been here before. Please pardon the negative comments but our biggest complaint had to do with the parking situation. We have a compact SUV and had a very hard time lining it up so it would fit in the allotted parking space. There were multiple ruts with the uneven driveway and my husband was afraid it was going to scrape the bumper or undercarriage. I had to get out and hand direct him on parking the car each time. We feel it needs to be paved or leveled. This also could be a stumbling hazard as are the steep stairs with no tread strips on them. It rains a lot and they were quite slick. This is a considerable liability for the owner. I do want to give a shout out to two Vacasa employees who went out of their way to assist us when we were coming into town. We had not printed out directions as I mistakenly thought they would be emailed to me. I was worried about losing power on my GPS and not being able to find the cabin. While in Ellijay, I called Michelle and left her a detailed message. I then called Bobby at your main number and he very kindly printed out the driving directions and texted them to me. In the meantime, Michelle took screen shots of the directions and also texted these to me. We thus had no trouble finding the place thanks to their assistance. We have used VRBO many times in the past and will continue to do so. All in all, it was a great experience and we will treasure the memories. Thank you and I hope you will share these comments with the owner.

A little older property but very clean and they thought of all the extras. We enjoyed out stay and would stay there again. ***Just be sure to have your phone or the code written down if you sit on the amazing porch. We almost got locked out as the door auto locks sometimes after you close it even though no buttons were pushed.
