« The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay. »

« We enjoyed the convenience of the location. It was off season, but we were still able to walk 3 blocks to see the bridge lit up at night. Also very close to the market, walking distance. We went to the island for one day to hike. Very convenient. The set up of this place was perfect for family time. Highly recommend. »

« Our family had a perfect week. Everything in the house is excellent quality construction, very impressive to accomplish on a island with limited resources. The property is very large, impressive, peaceful, beautiful, among other flattering adjectives. The views from the house are honestly one of a kind. We had 8 adults and 5 kids for the week and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend. »

« Everyone had a great time. Our group included kids(under 10) to older adults.The ceiling fan in one of the smaller cabins did not work and an electrical outlet in the other small cabin did not work. The Wifi in the Birch cabin was inconsistent for the first few days but was fine the last 4 days. None of these items were major. I still rated this as 5 stars. »

« We had a fantastic stay at this home! The property was fantastic and clearly well cared for, making it feel like a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, which made all the difference after walking about in the snow and being tired. Speaking of location, you really can’t beat it— easy to downtown, or a quick trip to Mackinaw.Communication with the owner was smooth and timely, which made check-in and the whole experience hassle-free.
