« I originally booked this for our family of 6. Due to kids schedules only one parent and one child stayed. The listing describes that it's connected like a duplex but we didn't expect to hear so much. It felt a little uncomfortable, like we were invading their privacy. Also it made us worry about being too loud for them, I would have been really anxious if we had all gone because our little kids are NOT quiet.There is no control of the AC and it was freezing!! We didn't reach out and ask for them...

« My whole family spent a long weekend at this great property. It was too short of a time. We played pickle ball, swam, played board games and had a great time. The property was very clean and had plenty of space for the 12 of us to spread out. We would definitely recommend this property for a large group. »

« It was such a great place for a extremely relaxing stay! Brent, Monica, and Hugo were all amazing! They were always out and about and never once didnt ask if we needed something or was there to assist! Son loved the animals, pool, lake, everything! His favorite of course was the snack room! « If you want an awesome weekend get away that isn't too far from your home, I highly highly recommend this place, especially with kids! My kids had so much fun paddle boarding, fishing, playing with the cows and other animals, chasing after the turkeys and peacocks, and playing with Bailey and Biscuit the farm dogs who are super friendly! « We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is right next to shore of the pond and it was cozy, clean, & comfortable. There is also a very nice pool near the cabins which we enjoyed during our stay. « We enjoyed our stay at Milk & Honey. The Casita was clean, offered a comfortable place to sleep and lots of outdoor activities. We do believe the rental of a casita should automatically include a golf cart as parking isn’t close to the casitas which makes unloading difficult. The houses have basic kitchen utensils but if you plan to do more than just basic cooking, you will need items for the stove top. « Everything was top notch at Milk and Honey Ranch! From the friendliness of all the employees, to the immaculate casita, it was a wonderful overnight stay. The beds were so comfortable! The layout of the house was beautiful and, by the way, this Cassita XL was completely handicap accesible. There are so many things to see and do on this property. Every kind of farm animal and plenty of ways to get exercise. A gem in Washington County and so close to Round Top, Texas! We will be back! »
