I booked a a king studio room with a bathtub. When I arrived at the property and into my room, there was no bathtub, just a walk-in shower. I kindly walked down to the front desk and mentioned that the room I was put in did not have a tub. I was simply told from the front desk staff “our king rooms don’t have tubs”. And I said, “your website as well as Expedia’s website states that the room I book has a bathtub.” I was told the ONLY option was to cancel my room with Expedia and pay the one night charge for the wrong room and re-book through the hotel for a room with a tub. I was absolutely not going to pay for 2 rooms for one night, one of which was falsely advertised. Expedia also did not remedy this situation as I was only provided a $40 comp for an upgrade but would have to pay the additional 1st nights stay out of my own pocket when it simply was not my fault. The hotel staff was very rude and offered NOTHING even after I explained that I specifically booked that hotel and that room because of the bathtub since I had my small child with me who only takes baths. Additionally, when I arrived at the hotel I asked what time the indoor pool was open. I was told it’s closed and to use the pool next door. The website never advertised that the pool was currently closed, which is yet another reason why I initially booked this hotel. Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel, the staff, and their lack of accommodation towards guests. I will never return.
