« This was our second time staying at A Place at the Beach and we loved it. We love how it is right there at the beach and how they have a playground area and indoor pool, since we have a 2.5 year old. The staff is very nice and helpful when we asked questions. We will definitely be back! :) »

« I was visiting Beaufort for the first time. This property was ideally located to downtown, Harkers Island, and Morehead. I enjoyed staying above Dancing Baristas. It was so convenient to pop down for my Latte and breakfast choice each morning before heading out. The property was perfectly appointed with toiletries, books, games, a comfy bed, and more. The owner provided great communication before and during my stay. I will stay again when I am back in the area. »

« Tim who works the desk is very accommodating and personable. The check in was easy and straight forward. The property reminded me of a hunting cabin rather for fishing. It’s really just a bunk house but it has everything you need and they even provide a food saver with a roll of bags and plenty of ziplock bags for anyone taking home their catch. « The listing and map gave the impression that this was a beachfront property, when in fact we had to cross a major highway and walk through another group of properties to get to the beach. The bunk beds, as well as the double bed closest to the entry had fleas. Either the box spring or mattress or both of the double closest to the entry need to be replaced.
