Room given away to someone else upon arrival. Only a security guard at entrance, without mobile or fix phone, without internet or real contact.
Television & Internet not working except late the last day.
When taking a shower, water accumulates and all over the floor in the washroom and other spaces. Floors are wet everywhere and are not clean (human hair all over). They had to put a plastic carpet.
Another important problem: impossible to get in contact with host before next day to get another room. Telephone numbers of contact doesn’t work and OUT OF SERVICE. Finally the next day, security guard got a key for the room beside the one we had. NOT an upgrade, NO view (exactly the same as the previous). 2nd room supplied is a microscopic room next door (from 313A to 313B) has exact same problems, exact same view, on same level: water leaking all over the floor when taking a shower making it very slippery & dangerous to walk around.
Our Electronic devices cannot work without connexion; impossible to get information for local activities, maps etc. Impossible to get in touch with our families & friends abroad or locally.
Impossible to get response with security at the entrance since themselves have no internet connection or no ''minutes'' for telephone. Finally got to send email to Rafael from the Coffee Shop and only received poor excuses stating that we had received an upgrade.
Extremely frustrating ruined Cartagena stay. PLEASE removed from EXPEDIA availability.
