« We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin with a great view located close to town. The hosts were excellent at communication and responded quickly. The deck is the focal point and is great for sitting out and admiring the water, enjoying an evening fire or cooking out dinner. My only complaint is in sleeping comfort. The bed in the main bedroom was so hard the first night that we switched to the other bedroom the second night. In that room, the bed was much better, but the window blind is too small...

« The proximity to the things we wanted to do made this a good choice. We enjoyed the layout of the place, esp. the porches to enjoy coffee and watch wildlife. Our bed was was comfortable as well, very important to us. Appreciated the washer/dryer! A note to navigation: Having read another of the reviews that expressed concern about Hilltop Road, we found Jaggers Rd to be a great option as it is paved. »

We weren't there long enough to cook and enjoy all the house had to offer, so I can't comment on the amenities. Joe was gracious to let us check in a little early. Responsive to all msgs. « This house had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation at the lake. The important things for us on vacation is sleeping comfortably, a great view and the location close to the state park. We loved the back porch overlooking part of the lake and hills. The beds were very comfortable especially the king in the master. Great place to stay! »
