"Views were amazing of ocean and marina. Steps everywhere with wheel chair access of course which is needed for bell hops to help your or for you to take your suitcases. Almost everyone is amazing, very few instances of less than great service. Rooms: Many reviewers with different info and that's because there are different room types, remodeling dates, views, sizes, etc plus the 'elite or 'black' levels which are the best of course... Ran into some elite/black band that deferred the newer rooms facing marina to enjoy ocean which are older even, so it really is personal preference.. Food: Apps are the best at any restaurant. Main courses sometimes were hit/miss, mostly due to fast pace of service so items weren’t always as hot as we wanted. Cupcake/coffee bar is great, only open 7-7. Mexican: Breakfast and Dinner: Only breakfast option aside from Room Service option. Very good. It's what you want in a buffet and made to order egg dishes. Italian: Our fav for quality and flavors. Chicken Parm beat out many USA restaurants as this is easy/hard at the same time.. Steakhouse: More of the pool bar restaurant. Great wings, quesadillas, tacos ok, and more of course. great service. Pizza/Sushi: good. Tortuga: Only dinner for non black band owners. Looked like great menu upgrade but didn't taste. Apps better than entries here for the common guest.. We have stayed at many all inclusive and this one rates a the top, matching/beating Hyatt Ziva for food quality."

"The Riu Palace Baja California was AMAZING. it’s clearly a new hotel with modern finishes in the rooms and the views are immaculate. All of the dining options (buffet, steakhouse, Mexican, Japanese) were delicious and the staff was superb. The DJ at the pool and evening entertainment played a variety of music that got everyone dancing. 10/10 would stay again. "

"What an absolutely breathtaking property! So quiet and safe! The dining options were beyond incredible (especially for all inclusives that can tend to be subpar—NOT the case here). The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need (even providing ponchos for cooler evenings, pool rafts/noodles, plenty of towels, and extra personalized dining touches). We appreciated how the pool staff remembered our name—ERICK is incredible, and made us feel like truly VALUED guests. On top of all of this, the smells in this resort were so yummy, calming, and delicious! 10/10 highly recommend!"

"The property was beautiful. our rooms had ocean views with jacuzzi tubs, food was delicious in all restaurants, could choice to go to quieter pools or the main pool which is definitely louder but lots of activities for all ages. Only complaint, which had nothing to do with hotel, we found out that June is the windy season & boy was it ever. Would highly recommend this resort & will return."
