« Clean, open, and sunny. Happy to have the gas stove and washer/dryer. Bed was comfortable and bedding was most inviting. Couch a bit uncomfortable with the worn in dip where we sat. Very homey however felt exposed with the lack of window coverings. Loved the homey touches , flowers on the table, plush soft throws rolled in basket, plush bath towels ktexposethecoverings. »

« While the basic but perfectly functional apartment is right on the Main Street of Indian Lake next to a bar (with great food) and the town’s theatre, the whole place has an Adirondack vibe and allows access to all that the area provides. John was friendly and helpful. Going during the town’s Moose Fest was a huge bonus! »

« We enjoyed our stay. The unit was spacious and clean and the owners were very responsive. We drive an ev and were amazed that there was a level one charger available for us to use. The yard was extensive for a quick out with the dogs and there was a quiet side street just across Rte 9 for longer walks. The grocery store and restaurants were only a couple blocks walk. We look forward to visiting this property again! »

« We had an amazing time at The River House. Everything was so new and beautiful. The house was very clean and spacious. Only thing that I do believe is worth mentioning, we were in Unit 3 and as soon as you open the front door, there is a very steep full staircase that you must climb. This was fine for me, but a little difficult for my elderly parents. Would definitely stay again! »

« It was a clean property to stay at and had no issues with cleanliness. I tried to communicate with owner prior to arrival about some amenities and never received a response. The kitchen is lacking some basic tools. They have a grilling set that is nice but no caulinder for pasta no spatula for making eggs. Back deck furniture was moved to adjacent unit so we had to scavenge to sit outside. Also umbrella is broken and in a breeze blows over. Couch is very basic and hard to sit on. If you are...

« This is a perfect cozy cabin for a romantic getaway. It’s tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The ideal placement of the cabin allows amazing mountain views from all the windows. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. Leslie responded instantly and was very helpful. We plan to return and try a different cabin with a little different view. »
