« It is a wonderful property. We loved the view and being able to walk to a few restaurants. The location is perfect. It’s a quiet area with a Cenote within walking distance. It’s convenient to Akumal and Tulúm. There is construction next door, but it wasn’t disruptive. The groundskeeper and housekeeper were attentive. A place on the beach was cleared daily. « Our family had a great stay. We utilized the day passes at the resort on the other side of the highway and rode the trolley to get there. We rented a car and had a private parking space; we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and ziplined over cenotes. There was a pool within the property that our young children loved. « This property is fantastic—beautiful views of the ocean and a calm and safe bay to swim in. Our 4-year-old loved to snorkel in the bay, and with a live vest, we felt fine letting her build her confidence in the ocean. Akumal, in general, is a safe gated community with lots to do and great places to eat. Thank you for a wonderful stay. »

« From start to finish the stay at Villa de la playa was great. Communication with the host was quick and Emilio was always there if we needed anything. We had a group of 11 and had plenty of space. The pool was refreshing on the hot humid days and even though it is a rocky area in front of the house, the ocean was amazing. A great area for snorkeling. There are iguanas that live in the rocks next to the pool and they come out to visit while you are sitting outside, definitely fun for the kids....

« We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The kitchen, table, and living room were spacious and accommodating. The morning sun and the beautiful sunrises were refreshing, including the splash in the pool. The cleaning crew was amazing, always smiling and flexible. We were so lucky to see three turtles laying eggs - unforgettable for sure! We hired a chef one night and were very, very happy with the food they prepared for us. All 16 of us had a great time. « We stayed here with 4 couples and the home and location were absolutely incredible! The property owner and manager were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The home was immaculate and had everything you could need. The pool, hot tub and beach were stunning and so fun. There are many fun restaurants within walking distance. « We absolutely loved our stay at Casa de las Conchas. We have stayed at Akumal Sur before and love the little "private" beach. Even though there were high winds the week we stayed, we still enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking in the bay. The pool was wonderful and we used all of the seating areas on the beach and pool area, especially the hammocks and palapa lounges. Kim easy to contact and quick to reply. Edgar was so friendly and kept the pool area and beach area in top shape. Karin was great too....
