Stanley Creek Lodge -4 Acre Creekside Lodge w/pool and Fishing

If you are looking for a true mountain retreat, then look no further! Stanley Creek Lodge has all you need and more. Located in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area, this outstanding lodge, sitting on 3 acres, is an outdoor enthusiast's dream near waterfalls and hiking trails. With 300 ft on Stanley Creek, this trout stream, which is fished with artificial lures and flies only, is sure to impress any fisherman tale. Our guests have caught trout up to 24 inches just 50 feet from the back door!!! With three master king suites, a queen suite, bunkbeds for the kids and a separate guest house that sleeps four with a full bathroom, there's plenty of room for all. This property also features a gated, heated inground, saltwater pool (diving board has been removed), a connected, smaller pool with jets and an outdoor party gazebo. On the front deck off the King master suite, you will find an oversized hot tub where guests can listen to the creek as you sip on your favorite wine and converse with family and friends throughout the day into the evening. Book that corporate retreat, church group, or family reunion and be ready to entertain all with the outdoors as well as the converted garage game room indoors. AS you drive up to the secluded lodge, you will be greeted by the gated outdoor pool and the sounds of the rushing Stanley Creek waters. The true lodge feel envelops you as you enter the front door. The bar and pool table are awaiting game night and happy hour. To the right is the open living room with soaring log ceilings and a wood burning rock fireplace with entrance to the pool. To the left you will find a fully equipped chef's kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and serving bar area with another wood-burning fireplace and dining area. Find your way down the hallway to the master king suite, over-looking the creek, and full bath with jetted tub and private entry to the oversized outdoor hot tub. Upstairs over the master king is another room with a king bed and a full bath with shower/tub combo. On the other end find the attached garage where you will find a game room with a pool table, card table, ping pong, and shuffleboard on the lower level. Upstairs above the garage are two more bedrooms. A beautiful view of Stanley Creek awaits you in the master suite that holds a king size bed, twin bunk bed and a full private bathroom with jetted tub. The other suite holds a queen size bed, twin bunk bed and a private bathroom with a shower. For the teenagers or a family of four, a guesthouse sits adjacent to the lodge and has a king bed, a pull-out full sofa and bathroom with a shower. Perfect Family Get-Away
Came up from Atlanta and Florida for Chistmas and found ourselves in a little slice of paradise. There was ample room for all of us and the kitchen lent itself perfectly to a Christmas dinner. Between the game room, hot tub, and living room, we had plenty to do.

We had a great time at Stanley Creek Lodge! Lots if entertainment for kids from 2yrs-12yrs Never heard “I’m bored” house was great; creek was a big hit; pool was great! Only small complaint was there was 13 of us for 6 nights—dish soap ran out in 3 had to buy more—seems a little petty to not provide enough for the booked stay

There were 16 of us and we all enjoyed the cabin very much. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The kids and adults really enjoyed seeing all the deer come up in the yard. There was plenty of room for everyone in our group and everyone was comfortable. We all played games and really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much for an incredible experience.

Five great days in June
Beautiful interior square footage with great open kitchen / dining area. The wraparound porch and pool were delightful. The Wi-Fi was very spotty; could / should be improved upon. The guest house had a strange aroma; rough construction.. we didn’t use. A small issue overall, but beanbags for the cornhole set were missing , as was the microphone for the karaoke machine. I reached out via text ; no response. The exterior is a bit tired and even though the property is on four acres, there is immediate property owner across creek that mowed for extended periods of time two if the four afternoons we were there. Large, noisy equipment. Obviously, summer maintenance has to be done. There were also nearby barking dogs- no fault of property owner/ manager. The kitchen was very functional, but the gas stove barely so; it should be replaced. The bedrooms, bathrooms were fabulous and the game rooms, living area truly user friendly and relaxing. We enjoyed our time very much.

Awesome Creek!
We all enjoyed the creek, especially looking for mudskippers and crawfish. The pool was beautiful. The house is spacious. The playroom was enjoyed by all. Great hiking nearby. Nice town nearby.

Family Christmas getaway
We celebrated our family Christmas here in this beautiful cabin next to the creek. It was very spacious and comfy. The outdoors is beautiful and so well kept. Very clean and organized home. We enjoyed it very much and plan to use this home again in the future for other occasions. 5+Stars

Loved the property and accomodations! There were two things that I thought you would want to be aware of for your next visitors; the internet never really worked which was a bummer and the fire wood was very green and was very hard to burn. Other than that we loved the place.

Great Family Memories Built Here
First shout-out goes to the cleaning crew that takes care of this very large house. For me, a clean house is mandatory for a comfortable stay. That’s not a small feat for a house this size. Well done! The size of the house and the way it’s laid out to accommodate all ages makes this property a real gem. There was something for everyone - you hear the theme in all the reviews – all 14 of us could be in the living room or kitchen/dining area together without feeling cramped at all. We did a lot of cooking and all the dishes and cookware we needed was provided. That was nice. The outdoor area is also great. It would be fun to come during warmer months and enjoy the pool. But the firepit and outdoor cooking area were a plus. The children – ages 2 to 13 – wanted to stay at the house and play rather than going on excursions because there was so much for them to do. Loved that! My suggestion to the property management group is to step up the game on the towels and blankets. There weren’t enough towels for everyone to have one. But they did respond quickly and brought more when we notified them of the shortfall. It was very cold when we were there and extra blankets were not available and seems like they should have been. But they brought those when we asked as well. Our family made lots of good memories in our time at the Stanley Lodge. I recommend it!

The pool was the best part!
We wanted to have a quick family getaway. The house was large and spacious. The pool was phenomenal. I was shocked to see the refrigerator shelves were broken and the bed linens were not cleaned. The bed spreads smelled and I just figured it was the detergent they used to clean them. Over all the house was gods if you have kids or are an active adult. There is a basketball goal, game room and 2 pool tables. I’d rate my stay a B in comparison to our other travels. My family said they would return for the pool but everything else was just ok. I’d recommend if you have a large family.

Heaven on Earth
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The setting on the creek was spectacular. We saw deer every morning on the lawn. The pool was so relaxing and enjoyed by all. Night swims under the stars were amazing. The property itself is very private and easily accessible. Sitting on the deck and looking out at the pool and the creek was so relaxing. We went on a hike to a beautiful waterfall. The drive to the trailhead was only about 5 minutes away. The game room was great. The kids loved having their own place to chill and it kept them entertained for hours on end. Each bedroom had its own theme. The Western room upstairs had a lovely view of the creek. The downstairs master had a walkout deck that was literally about 10 steps from the creek. The living room was massive and could easily accommodate large gatherings. The house was immaculate and had everything anyone would need for an extended stay. There was a cute guest house that is decorated as a farm house. The town of Blue Ridge was just a short drive away and we enjoyed shopping and dining there. Overall this was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be booking this place again.

The property was perfect for our needs and really didn’t have any issues other then 2 out of 4 burners working on the stove but we didn’t voice that concern during the stay, we just worked around it. The creek was lovely and brought in the cooler temps! Swinging on the porch listening to the birds, creek and nature was quite calming and relaxing!. Overall great experience. AC seemed to struggle a bit in the main living room area but we managed as the rest of the house kept up! The pool was top notch and everyone enjoyed all the pool toys provided. Game room was enjoyed by all! Would recommend to anyone wanting to relax.

Spring break at the creek
This property provided lots of fun for three families, 8 kids 7 and under. The property itself was fun to discover. The creek is just amazing. Close hiking spots and central locations to surrounding areas. It was a very relaxing place to stay. As another reviewer stated, the outside pool isn’t available are to use during winter months, opens in May. However we still had a nice time. There is a stand alone hot tub the kids used and we’re fine with. We would def go back during a warmer month to use this property again. Overall great experience

Beautiful House & Atmosphere
This was the perfect home. Big common areas for all of us to be together. I love how close the river is to the house and the pool. The rental company that takes care of this house was very understanding and quick to respond when we couldn’t get the door code to work. Overall a great stay just note the pool isn’t open during the winter season which is a little disappointing but nevertheless such a fun house for a group of people and very clean!
