Delight Duck est notre maison à Happiest ville balnéaire de l'Amérique (2014 Coastal Living)!

4 chambres (3 lits queen size et 2 ensembles de lits superposés), 2 salles de bain Cape Cod à Chincoteague, VA., La maison des poneys Assateague. Petit village de pêcheurs sur la rive orientale de la Virginie. Climatisation centrale, récemment mis à jour et une cuisine entièrement équipée (casseroles, poêles, vaisselle, équipement de fruits de mer, quelques épices, mixeur), projeté en porche et extérieur clos douche chaude, 10 couchages. Idéal pour 2 familles, comprend une chaise haute et portacrib. La maison est à distance de marche de la ville. Découvrez Chincoteague, une véritable ville américaine avec toutes les activités et une plage protégée vierge. Appartement à grande circonscription de vélo. Et grand tout l'année ». Delightful Ducks Delight!
We have stayed multiple times at chincoteague, but my family and I quite enjoyed Ducks Delight. It was roomy, clean and a cute house to vacation at! Lots of beach supplies in the shed that helped lend to the experience and limit needs to carry extra items on vacation. When we visit chincoteague again we will be back!

Highly recommend
This house was perfect for our family. We found everything we needed to cook meals. Nice big washing machine and clothes dryer. Loved eating breakfast on the screened in porch. Quiet neighborhood, very close to many restaurants. Plenty of hot water for showers. VERY clean. Comfortable seating, beds were comfy too. Super fast response from the owner when I had a question. Wifi was strong enough for 2 teenagers and 3 adults.

Windy visit to Chincoteague
I quickly lost track of how many times the kids said 'cozy' when we got to the house! Great fast responses to my questions about a couple of logistics. Very clean top to bottom. Just watch your head in the upstairs rooms by the windows... I wish it had been a little warmer as we didn't have a chance to use the lovely screened porch. We will definitely have to go again in the summer to experience more of what Chincoteague and Assateague have to offer.

Another excellent mini-vacation!
Our group has been staying at Duck’s Delight for the past several years. The property is always in exceptional shape and Joe is the perfect host! Every time we come, there is an improvement or upgrade. My husband was especially pleased with the remote ceiling fans this year. The fresh paint job is lovely! We are so grateful that we can bring our dog, Henry, who enjoys hanging out on the screened porch with us. The ducks and other birds that frequent the back yard are an added bonus. If you like to walk through a neighborhood with well kept cottages, the Island Creamery is a great destination. I can’t say enough about this lovely place!

Lovely Place to Stay
We very much enjoyed staying at Duck's Delight. It's great that it is such a short walk into town. Just be sure to bring both towels and sheets. I'm used to those being provided, so almost missed that in the listing.

Perfect Location
Clean and very functional house! Perfect location for 5 retired bike riders. Walking distance to center of town. Great wrap around couch in living room. Beds were comfortable. The screened in porch was perfect. Wish there was a gas grill but the kitchen was well stocked so meals were easy to prepare. Looking forward to coming back.

A good house with plenty of room. We had 4 stay there and had the extra bunk bed room empty that we could have slept more. About 15 minutes away from the beach. Not the nicest / fanciest house but it was priced right for our stay and I would stay there again. *Note that you have to pay extra for linens, I almost missed that(even though it is mentioned in the listing) and wouldn’t have had any bath towels or sheets. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with and got that taken care of for me.

Comfortable and well equipped
Clean and well stocked cottage, comfortable beds and furniture, screened in porch makes it feel very roomy. Kitchen has up to date appliances, lots of little extras throughout. Beach chairs plentiful and in good shape, no need to bring your own. An absolutely charming playground is about a block and a half away. Owner is responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the house I'd buy on Chincoteague Island, if I could. The location is great, a quiet street with friendly neighbors. The house is perfect, and has everything you need. The owner, Joe, is super responsive to any questions. Can't wait to go back!!

Exceptional as always!
We have been staying at Ducks Delight for the past several years. It has always been a great get away! The cottage is neat, clean, and well furnished. The living area is very comfortable and cozy. But Probably our favorite room is the screened porch. We spend lots of time out there drinking coffee, reading, and having a glass of wine at night. It is also a great place to eat take-out tacos. The Island Creamery is within walking distance and a great destination for an evening stroll. We also spent several hours enjoying the beach. It was a great mini-vacation! We have never had a problem, but Joe always contacts us to make sure that everything is ok. Thank you again, Joe and Shawn!!

A Great Home Away From Home
This is a place with a beach feel, with beautiful kitchen, a comfortable living room and lovely bedrooms. There is a room right off the kitchen where you can play games, eat and feel like you are outside. It is completely screened in and comfortable. I would love to stay there again if I can find a weekend available. You will definitely enjoy your stay.
