We were lucky with our March stay this year and say the herring fishery out front for two or three days. Very comfortable cabin, well provisioned with all you will need for a short or long stay. Enjoyed the on-demand cable, and just a couple minutes outside of Qualicum Beach. »

« The Beach House was the perfect place for us to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The island was quiet, the house was perfect. Spent most of our days sitting on the deck enjoying the wildlife that appeared - blue herons, Canada geese, loons, deer, eagles. I was able to crochet and relax my brain! « This VRBO offers all the comforts and amenities for an extended stay. The cottage is tucked away on the property and the deck is a perfect spot for stargazing away from city lights at night. An owl could be heard in the trees on the edge of the property. We were not in town for beach time, but there is nearby access, corner store available at the closest resort as well as Deez restaurant which we recommend. »

« At first we were a little surprised, but it turned out to be what we needed. Quiet, clean, and the sheets smelled like old fashioned hang dried which was amazing. Wifi was a little weak but we didn’t need it to work, it was nice to unplug for a few days. The recommended Italian restaurant cuckoo in coomes was spectacular was like we were in Italy. Highly recommended »

« Tunnel Hill was the perfect spot for our family holiday. From the start, communication with the Tunnel Hill team was exceptional. Being greeted upon arrival and shown around was very much appreciated. The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable. The golf cart and tunnel down to the beach were highlights. We loved the view, the outside amenities and the peaceful setting. Tunnel Hill exceeded our expectations and we hope to return. »

« We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. Wildlife awaits each time you look out towards the wetlands, with a variety of birds as well as an orchestra of frogs come dusk.
