« Our 22 year old was killed in an accident in 2021, the grief made my husband the 9th person to be diagnosed with a disease that left him totally disabled. « Our Anniversary trip with our two dogs was so relaxing and just what we were needing. With our trip falling just after Halloween, it was so fun sit in front of the fireplace in the cozy cabin and watch a scary movie! We were able to cook up a yummy dinner as well! The area is beautiful and close to everything! Thanks for the great stay! »

« It's a really nice property out in the country. It is well taken care of. It would be great for a husband and wife with 2 kids. A group of 4 friends, you'd have to share beds or figure something else out. The bathroom is detached but it is a very nice bathroom. It's a nice comfortable place to stay. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Walnut Ridge. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and super cozy when the wood stove is on. It was too cold to get in the hot tub, but we did get out for a nice hike across the road. Beautiful state woods with a small pond and lots of trails. »

« Close to everything we wanted to see. We have small children and wanted to be able to go back to our lodging in between activities for meals and naps. This was super convenient and we loved being able to cook and eat like we normally would instead of so much eating out. »

« My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! »
