« My wife and I stayed two nights here and it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is behind the owners house but they have put blinds in the cabin and also have a privacy fence between the house and the cabin so we did have privacy. They provide you with a remote to open the gate so you can come and go as you please. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple just looking to get away. We brought a puzzle and assembled it during our stay. »

« If you’re looking for a modern, luxurious, secluded location this is not for you. But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. Keep in mind it is a 1930’s house with a lot of the original “charm”. We loved it and plan to stay again. »

« This place is incredible for its tranquility and its soothing and relaxing environment. The log cabin is simply very welcoming and beautiful. Very clean where there will be everything at your disposal. Everything is so well thought out! The decor, the little details of the place not to mention the farm cat called Mr Jingles. « I rarely write a review and if I do I rarely give more than 4 stars. If I could give A Mighty Oak six stars I would! Todd and Lisa have a wonderful place with views of Pilot Mountain. The breakfast is farm to table and is world class. We will return. »

« If you are looking for a tidy little cabin to be 'home base' for a stay in the shadow of Pilot Mountain - This is it. The host was very attentive to my requests and quickly attempted to rectify a noise coming from the H2O heater. I always say: It is less about the problems you encounter and more about how those problems are addressed!Drew did a great job and I highly recommend! »
