« We stayed at Linthwaite House to celebrate my partners birthday, its not so much a hotel as a Art Gallery with its wonderfully tasteful decor and items from the owners private collection. Its location over looking Windermere and landscaped garden it was for us the most fantastic place to relax wonderful food and with staff that couldn't do enough for us truly 5 star for us it was a "Faultless" weekend. »

« We had a lovely stay here. There is on street parking, and also you can park at the back. The hotel owner was friendly and helpful with any advice you needed with regard to nearby walks and amenities. We came with friends for a seventies themed murder, mystery night. The photo you see was taken in the hotel's front garden. The hotel was also very close to all amenities. The room was comfortable and we were well supplied with towels and toiletries. « Was really disappointing the shower area was so tiny you couldn’t turn around if you did the shower curtain kept sticking to you and so much damp in this tiny area. You had to keep your arms in. The TV kept freezing and you could turn the Tv over with the remote control. The The breakfast was nice. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »
