« This is a gorgeous historic place, over 200 years old, fixed up meticulously. The room had a magnificent fireplace, and tasteful antiques transporting you back in time. The host had complimentary beverages in the fridge. Located close to little shops and restaurants in the lush mountains of West Virginia, this is truly a hidden gem. « The little house was close to all the places we wanted to visit in the area. The neighborhood was quiet. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. »

« this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. « Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. »
