« The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for them. »

« Hotel lugubre en zone industrielle. Béton dehors, lumières glauques dedans et un sérieux besoin de rafraîchissement. Chambre en sous sol, fenêtre sur route bruyante (dans une île quasi vide!). Lit double très étroit. Prises électriques pour la plupart défectueuses. Salle de bain propre mais amenities minimales. Accueil froid derrière une table bricolée: avec le Covid les contacts sont limités mais ici c'est désagréable en plus d'être distant. Il y a tellement mieux sur les îles Shetland... »

« A nice hotel with very helpful staff. Some minor issues on our arrival which were sorted out immediately. The problem was with Expedia booking, not the hotel. Absolutely perfect for our visit which was for a business trip. We will definitely go back next time we are in Shetland. »

« We had a lovely big room Yell overlooking the garden. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even though there were some big groups staying. Always plenty of hot water and heating which was needed after being in the cold winds at Shetland. Staff very helpful and polite - they helped us book ferries to Yell and Unst. Breakfast and dinner very plentiful - too much for me at times but you can ask for a half portion. Lovely lounge to relax in on an evening. Highly recommend and we hope to be back at...

« We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour.
