« Good hotel, very clean and great service. However, because there was a problem with our heater, the management had to move us to another room, which was a little inconvenient but doable. Second room was great! And we had stayed here on our way to our destination so we knew it was a good place to stay on the way back. Would happily recommend it. The restaurant they recommended, Georges, was excellent! »

« We stayed at the mini-cabin for a weekend and had a lovely time. The add-ons were convenient- we chose the water package to go paddleboarding onsite and the firewood delivery for the firepit. The cabin was clean and inviting. The kitchenette is small but had key basics like a coffee maker, hot plates, griddle, and mini fridge. « The staff is extremely friendly and nice. The rooms, building and furniture are old and small but comfortable for me. This is a budget place to stay so in some sense you get what you pay for. I've stayed here several times and never had any significant issues or problems. I'm not a big fan of the carpet in the rooms but it's not a deal breaker. It's a very basic place to stay when you're trying not to spend too much. »

« The location was excellent for access to VIR. Accommodations were perfect for four adults and very clean. All rooms were recently renovated and modern.The house was fully furnished with everything you would need including coffee pods. The outside area was well manicured and the fire pit area was relaxing after a day at the track. »

« This place is mind blowing! The property manager or owner is great! Property is the most relaxing place we have ever been. Hot tub was perfect, the outdoor area with the fire pit was beautiful. Not a penny was spared when they built or remodeled this place. Will deff be going back! »

« Everything was just as described. We like low key, hang at a house, fish, and play table games type places and this was perfect. Felt secluded, but town is close if you need anything and the little section of the lake was so peaceful! Fans were nice outside on the covered porch and the dock/pontoon was good for 4 people to fish off of. Only 1 1/2 hrs from Raleigh, which was a plus since family was coming up from State. GO PACK! »

« We had 9 adults and 5 children on our trip and never felt crowded. There was plenty of room indoors for large groups, along with great outdoor space plus a large enough table for everyone to eat at the same time. The game closet, ping pong table, and swing were great additions. Perfect location to get away, while also being close enough to some great activities. Some things do need to be updated/fixed up (outdoor play area, one of the bathtubs, carpet), but overall it was a good stay and the...
