« We stayed in a spacious studio apartment on the upper level with a fabulous view across a lush garden to the sea. The host was friendly and allowed us to check in early, for which we were grateful after a long flight. « Little peace of paradise! Facilities a bit run down so don't expect anything fancy but compensated by lovely caretaker family and good value for money for Tongan standards. Ideal place for digital detox. Great meals. Would stay here again as an island retreat. »

« We went to the Royal Sunset with 6 of our Tongan young friends who help us at a humanitarian clinic we work in. We are leaving Tonga and wanted to thank them for all they do. We decided to spend the night at the Royal Sunset. The rooms were filthy. The linens were stained and the rooms were unbearably hot. The pool water was brown.
