« The property was a perfect spot for a variety of activities and suited for when rain hits. We loved the screened in porch. Very clean and well stocked. Owners were communicative and kind. Recommend Wayside Beach, Mystic Marina and the Adirondack Folk School gift shop. »

« I fell in love as soon as I saw the cottage. I came here with my son's. We didn't get to do much since our stay was short and there was a downpour, but it perfect to unwind/de-stress. Loved the VCR and the movie selection. It took me back to the day's when my eldest son was younger (now an adult). Funny how he only chose the cartoon movies to play. « The Sunrise Retreat was a perfect relaxing stay! The house is extremely comfortable with everything you could need. It is located directly on the river and we saw a bald eagle several times! David had a kayak, canoe, and paddleboard on site and our kids were in and out of the water all day! It was a short drive to Lake George and several spots to hike! David even took us out on his boat. Super easy to check in (he even left cookies)! Highly recommend! »

« This was one of the nicest vacation rentals I've stayed in, We came up to Lake Luzerne for my husband's birthday and we cooked dinner in on the first night. « My adult daughter, our dog, and I stayed for 2 nights - it was quaint and cozy. We had the gas fireplace on twice when it got chilly outside, and bought our meals from local restaurants and ate them inside the cabin. We went for walks and explored gift shops - the cabin was in a great location. Austin (property host) was excellent - answered my questions and gave suggestions for dining and beaches. My daughter and i had a wonderful, relaxing stay. »

« My family and some friends stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding down the street at Juniper Springs Barn. The cabin was in great condition and exactly as listed. « The location is very nice on a small clean lake. The deck overlooking the lake is the best feature of the cabin. The kitchen counter space is tiny and made meal prep for a group of 5 women difficult. The gas grill should have a cover to protect it from the rain and the automatic starter did not work. We did find a lighter to start it. The bathroom is very far from the bedrooms which are upstairs which was an issue for some of us at night. Also we needed to use the sleeper sofas in the living...
