« …. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in...

« The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time! »

« Location was ideal, size was good. I liked the setup of the front door lock and had it been warmer weather, would have loved to use the front porch swing. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. »

« The view over the lake was spectacular for sunsets and especially full moon! The place was spotless and had everything we needed, with very comfortable furniture. Could use a small step stool to get into and out of the bed, and maybe a small half door across the stairs for safety, especially at night. »

« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love...

« Julie is a great host. The house was clean and well stocked. We were not lacking for anything. It is cute house that is close to town and has a gorgeous view of the lake. The house was very comfortable for 7 women. »

« We were visiting family in Trumansburg for Thanksgiving and needed extra room for our large party. This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table). We would love to return! Thank you so much to our hosts for the well appointed cottage and convenient location to Trumansburg (and Ithaca - just depends which way you want to go on 89)! »

« The property is very similar to the listing. Checking in and out was very easy. It is a short walk to the bars and restaurants in town and very close to the National Park. Weather was not great but we had a great weekend anyway. »

« Beautiful view, super clean house, near brewery’s, vineyards and Watkins Glen. »

« The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. When we arrived, the heat had been set to 65, it was quite cold. It did take a while to warm up as it's radiant heat (in the floors). Could have used a few more necessities in the kitchen. The game room offers hours of endless fun. »

« This home leaves you speechless with its beautiful view of the lake. It is kid friendly and has lots of room for guest. The house is nicely furnished and newly renovated but still makes you feel at home! There were even snacks as a welcoming gift. I will definitely be coming back! »

« The house was spotless. The location was close to downtown Watkins Glenn. We had all the luxuries of a hotel in a house. I would definitely recommend this house. »

« Nice place on the lake, very quiet and private, everything is included in the rental, nothing really to bring (except keurig coffee pods) Plenty of room we had a family of 8 including small children. The kitchen was a bit crowded, the furniture the house is on the older side. But overall nice place to rent. We would recommend. Thank you for your hospitality. »

Very expensive for a mid range hotel

"Rather strange set up. Reception is in the lobby of an office building. Lifts/corridors are shared with other commerce/offices...little feeling that you are in a hotel. The week we stayed the rates were VERY high, may be better value off peak. nice gym,, small indoor pool"
