Loft-e-Lagoon -No Cleaning fee-Grated community-2 minute to the beach

Enjoy a drink off the private patio while watching the golfers play. This villa is located in the beautiful gated Wyndham Ocean Ridge community and 5 minutes from the beach.
This Villa is located on the THIRD floor with steps. NO ELEVATOR. The condo has a spiral staircase leading to the loft. It might be hard for the elderly or disabled.
Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our very best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
Please note that the fireplace is decorative only and not to be used. •The condo is basically equipped with all the basics for cooking (pots, pans, plates, microwave, oven, fridge, toaster, coffee maker (standard and Keurig), etc - cooking condiments are not provided). I will provide one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. I will also provide one towel and one wash cloth per guest no matter how long your stay. If you need more, please bring them. There is a small washer/dryer combo for your laundry needs. Please bring your own detergent.
Other things to note
1. Please keep in mind that South Carolina has it's fair share of insects and other creatures. It's not uncommon for a Palmetto bug (looks similar to a roach) to get into the homes on the island. Also, small Anole lizards try and get in the homes. Our home is sprayed every few months for bugs.

2. The condo is so close to the beach that the tap water is slightly salty, which is completely normal and safe. If you do not like the taste, Edisto has a small grocery store just 5 mins away where bottled water can be purchased.

We love visiting Edisto, and we love staying in Wyndham when we do, and this unit is nicely located near the pool/playground/mini-golf that the kids like to use daily.

Second visit and we still love it!
We knew what we were getting into from our last visit, but it’s just as great the second time around. The only downside is the staircase, but once you get over that hurdle it quickly becomes an upside. From the balcony, you have a lovely view of the grounds and can often see wild deer roaming around. The bed is super comfy, and the second floor is adorable and perfect for children, complete with a spiral staircase. It’s very clean and has all the accommodations you would want. Location-wise, everything is a short drive away. I recommend the Sea Cow Eatery or McConkey’s if you want a bite to eat. The beach is close enough that there is no distance-related convenience as long as you don’t mind a quick drive. I expect to return.

We found the condo to be perfect for us. There was just enough room that we weren’t bumping in to each other. The kitchen space is small but we were able to cook when we wanted. The drive to the beach is only a few minutes - a quick trip. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Decent will stay again.
There are a couple of concerns with the property. The front door handle would jam and have a very hard time opening the door. Couple of times we thought we were locked out even though we had the key. The bottom of the spiral staircase railing needs to be reattached. Also the glass table is an accident waiting to happen not secured at all. The price of this listing is very reasonable and we really enjoyed ourselves. Appreciate us being able to stay somewhere for less than a week.

Never happened.
The unit was not cleaned properly. No air upstairs and the property manager stated we weren't able to get a refund or discount so I lost my entire payment and went back to charleston to a hotel that we paid $836.00 for our four night stay.

Deceptive pictures, broken washer, too expensive for the place
Drainage around building is non existent. Had to wade through storm water to reach the stair. Place was clean, but is SMALL. We stayed the 2 nights & got out quick. We not go back to this location.

Cute Little Condo
Nice, clean condo. Perfect for a weekend away. Traveled with my husband and two teenagers for Thanksgiving and was able to cook and serve a small dinner with no problem. Host was very communicative as needed and the check in/out instructions were easy to follow.

Two Nights
The owner was honest about the number of steps and there are a lot since it's on the third floor. We were expecting that since they do emphasize it in the description. She also contacted us to let us know they had some flooding and we needed to be careful about the slippery walkway in front of the condo. I appreciated her letting us know. It rained overnight our first night there and we had to wade through water to get to our vehicle, no fault of the owners Other than that, our visit was pleasant, the condo was very clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our time there. Thank you for opening your home to others.

Cute Condo
Tiny condo, but perfect for what we needed. Just a place to sleep for the weekend. We spent our days out on the beach. It was very clean and comfortable beds. The only frustration we had was the parking lot was flooded. I'm not sure the owner could even do anything about that, but we had to walk through ankle deep water to enter the condo which was unpleasant.
