The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. « We had an amazing stay in Kailua. We loved the area that had a beautiful beach nearby (walking distance), many shopping and food options with a small town feel, and very responsive and helpful hosts. You can take a short walk to get to Pioneer Saloon for a plate lunch or Bogarts cafe for breakfast. The beach and the zoo are all right there.
