Chalet de montagne sur la fourche sud de la rivière Boise, entouré par la forêt nationale en dents de scie. Détendez-vous au bord de la rivière ou profitez de centaines de kilomètres de sentiers à couper le souffle en vélo, en VTT, en vélo tout terrain ou en randonnée. Apportez votre gaz UTV car le plus proche est à 21 miles. Faites un pique-nique et laissez-vous tremper dans les sources chaudes de Worswick. Le lac de chèvre est un must si vous pouvez supporter une excursion aller-retour modérément raide de 5 miles plus une randonnée de 1 mile. Beaucoup de vieux sites miniers à explorer. La faune abonde, nous avons repéré des ours, des orignaux, des renards, des loups, des cerfs et des élans, des oiseaux illimités avec les geais stellaires préférés de la région et des colibris très fréquentés. Les fleurs sauvages sont incroyables, avec des paysages spectaculaires partout. Rien de tel que le son d'une rivière de montagne juste derrière votre porte. Les étoiles abondent dans le ciel sombre de l'Idaho, découvrez la voie lactée, les comètes, les météores et un étonnant affichage d'étoiles. Les opportunités de prendre des photos sont illimitées. L'énergie solaire vous offre toutes les commodités modernes tout en vous protégeant du réseau et de l'environnement. La zone de divertissement à l'extérieur est parfaite (3 ponts!) ainsi qu'un foyer pour les grands groupes ou les couples confortables. Les zones environnantes a une grande pêche à la mouche. Choisissez votre endroit et accrochez le hamac pour lire ou vous détendre. Trop à voir et à faire à la liste. Planifiez votre menu, apportez votre nourriture et tout le reste est là. A Serene Getaway with Stunning Views – Exceeded All Expectations!
We had the most incredible stay at this location—it truly exceeded our expectations in every way! The property was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets. All we had to bring was our clothing and food, which was great considering we flew in from Ohio. The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking—truly a slice of paradise. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the surrounding area, this place is perfect. We can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again!

A truly special place
The place is amazing. Carolyn truly owns a special place and shares it. We have come here two years in a row. Place is clean and large enough that we can have many family members come and visit and enjoy the Mts. Cabin is set up with everything you need to cook your meals, the deck is perfect to eat ouside every evening. Firepit is a great place sit and laugh and enjoy time together with family and reconnect and forget about the world right next to the river. Thank you Carolyn for everything!!!

There isn't much more to say than I said last time, or has been said before. This place really is perfect. The river, the fire pit, the house, all perfect. Love the new gazebo with the swings - we spent so much time out there. Book it - you won't regret it!

Absolutely Beautiful!!!
This property is top notch and is a perfect "get-away" for a large group. We enjoyed many nights by the fire as well as sitting next to the river while we enjoyed our coffee in the mornings. This property is truly amazing. It is as advertised and is completely off the grid in the mountains which is exactly what we wanted. So many outdoor activities to do around the property. The river is beautiful and runs right through the backyard. The fire pit is the perfect gathering place for the group at night with plenty of nice chairs provided around the fire. We had an amazing trip. The off the grid living was easy to get used to. You just have to remember to turn off lights when u leave a room and start the generator if you want to use the appliances that draw significant power. There is a digital meter in the kitchen that tells you what the power level is at. If it drops below a certain level then just start the generator. The host was very responsive and answered any and all questions I had. All the beds were super comfortable! What a perfect place. All of us kept talking about what a dream it would be to have a place like this to escape to.

Great place to rest and relax and play.
We had a wonderful time. Campfire was great place to sit around with love ones and visit and relax. The river was amazing. I grew up coming to this area in the 70s and 80s coming back was so much more than I could have even imagined. Seeing the kids in our group experience and explore this area as I did as a kid was such a joy to me. Carolyn thank you so much for giving us this special opportunity to stay at your beautiful property. Lifetime memories were made.

Gateway to adventure
Excellent private comfortable compound. Access to trails, hot springs, valley bottoms , and mnt tops are just out the door. Lots of parking for everything from an RV to a mnt bike. We enjoyed having access to the garage as well to store and work on our motorcycles. Kitchen was well stocked with pretty much anything you’d need to cook with.

Our group referenced the reviews of this property in order to prepare, and everything was as described. The location is beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked, and following the instructions allows for access to all appliances and amenities as described. We traveled a far distance with a pet and an infant and wanted for nothing throughout our stay. It was amazing.

Off the Grid Mountain Getaway
This place was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed at when traveling out west. If you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy the back woods this is the place to go. My family and I spent the entire day sitting down by the river that runs behind the property and sitting out on the back porch. The home was equipped with games, fishing poles, and many more entertaining activities to keep you busy on your stay. My favorite activity was laying on the hammock reading a book! I would highly recommend staying here. Carolyn was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved this home!

This was the perfect off-grid property! We loved it!

Enjoyed the backcountry with all the luxuries of home!
What an amazing property! This cabin is set up smartly! Plenty of room for everyone and everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the UTV trails and the hot springs nearby and in the evening, a campfire by the creek.

Incredible Property
The house is very nice and well maintained, but the real reason for staying at this cabin is for the property which is located right on the Boise river with lots of room to play and plenty of space from any neighbors. The drive from Fairfield took about 50 minutes on a forest service road, but compared to most back country roads this one was very well maintained. The owners do a great job of providing all sorts of activities and games for all ages. The fire pit setup is fantastic and the power to the cabin all worked very well despite being solar/gas generator powered. I'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone that's looking to get away from the city for a few days. I assume we'll be going back again soon.

Off Grid Oasis
We stayed at this location for a week. My family flew in from WV to visit. The cabin is secluded and a hidden gem! It is right on the south fork of the Boise river (picturesque views). It was well stocked with supplies (including baby supplies - since we had two infants with us). It was interesting being off grid and solar power but we adapted and loved it! The owners had great communication and checked in frequently to make sure we were adapting to the solar power well! I would def recommend this cabin if you’re looking to get away from city life. It was very relaxing and much needed time with the family!

fantastic wilderness get away
The property was amazing. very clean and well stocked and there was so much to do right on the property. We enjoyed playing in the river outback as it was unseasonably hot during our stay. There were water squirters provided by the hosts that brought lots of laughs. They have provided all kinds of games that are fun for all ages as well as a variety of kids activity ideas including a rock painting kit and nature scavenger hunt. Great for family get aways. plenty to do. nice quiet area. We would definitely love to return!
