The house is just a block and a half from New Market Street, minutes to Hood College, and all of downtown Frederick within a 10-15 minute walk. This charming, 1901 historic home is both comfortable and upgraded with a remodeled, fully stocked kitchen, and stunning brand new bathroom. One amazing place
I can't say enough about this house. Checking in was easy and the place was very clean and updated. I enjoyed the home a lot. I came out to Maryland to do a bike race and if I do this race next year I most definitely will be staying here again.

Fantastic find in great location
We loved our weekend stay and it was the perfect location for attending a concert at the Weinberg Center and walking around the downtown shops and restaurants. We had everything we needed and Edward was timely and responsive with our questions upon arrival. Great weekend getaway from DC and I'd definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful weekend at Cottage on Dill! I had a couple of questions and got in touch with the owner whom got right back to me. The house was just as described and VERY clean. Great town and the place was in an area that was 100% walkable. We will definitely be returning🙂

Charming Cottage seconds from downtown
We found this property as we were looking for a place to stay as we were attending a wedding in Frederick. What we didn’t expect to find was a cozy home with a comfortable arrangement with less than a 5 min walk to restaurants, breweries, and a park. We were delighted to find all these little things to do in the down time between wedding events. All of these things accumulated into a wonderful family weekend and a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend a visit for a charming fall weekend!

Great Three-day weekend
Having driven through Frederick a few times, I wanted to explore the town and area. This rental was the perfect place to do that. The location was just a couple of minutes walk from the main street. We brought our dog and we were able to really enjoy the immediate neighborhood during our walks. There were several great restaurants as well as non chain shopping. The local wineries and distilleries we an easy drive with beautiful scenery. The house itself was large and we made use of the front and back porches for coffee or an adult beverage. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom large and new. Everything was provided for our needs. The only issue we had was with controlling the AC units, but the host was very responsive and helpful. We would recommend the rental.

Perfect spot in Frederick!
This is THE PLACE to stay in Frederick! Edward was a wonderfully gracious host- great communication and hospitality! The house itself has a warm, cozy historic feel but is equipped and decorated in a modern style. A perfect balance between honoring the history of the area yet providing amenities to help unwind and relax. The kitchen is nicely stocked, the bathroom is beautiful and the bedrooms are comfortable. The house was spotless! The front porch is a so inviting to enjoy morning coffee and the back deck was perfect to relax after hiking. The location is excellent…short stroll to restaurants, breweries, distilleries, Carroll creek park. It is on street parking but we had no trouble finding two spots just a few doors down. We took a 15 minute drive to a local state park where we enjoyed a hike then stopped at a local winery. So much to do from this location. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us Edward! Quick visit to see the grandkids
We stayed here with our dog for two nights while in Frederick visiting the grandkids. The house is exactly as described and pictured and was impeccably clean. The kitchen is well-equipped has all the basics you’ll need for light cooking; they could use a few full size drinking glasses. The bedrooms are charming with high quality linens. The bathroom is beautifully renovated with a large shower. The location is on the border of downtown so it is very convenient to all Frederick has to offer, but you should expect a little street noise. The small backyard is securely fenced and has a lovely new deck and patio. They are still working on the grass and landscape so it’s a bit rough, but it was perfect for our dog. Communication with the owner was excellent as was the check-in process. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay walking distance to downtown Frederick!
This quaint historic newly renovated home was adorable and had everything we could need. It has a great front porch for people watching on a relatively quiet street and a lovely back deck and small yard. The beds upstairs were very comfortable and the bathrooms felt like we were at a spa. The kitchen was well equipped and updated. There were a lot thoughtful extras from the coffee bar and high quality vanity supplies to the window bird feeder and beautiful flowers on the deck. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and quick to respond. We wish we could have stayed longer

Gorgeous property within 2 blocks of downtown Frederick. Short walk to spa, dinner, shopping, and bars. Easy access to property, wonderful host, beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Soft beds and spa quality towels. Plenty of heating/air conditioning. Quiet neighborhood. 2 bedrooms were perfect and upstairs. Full kitchen with a french press! definitely recommend and will stay at this property again.
