« We stayed for one night at Tallowood on the way to pick up our new pup, jack russell terrier, Celeste! We had our Great Dane with us. To say that we enjoyed Tallowood would be a massive understatement! The place had everything we could ask for and more! The beach was literally across the road and dog friendly! We will be returning for sure!! Cannot recommend Tallowood highly enough!! »

« We loved the fact there are a range of lounge/sitting areas, including a large living/dining inside, a veranda back and front, with the large back veranda also offering a dinning and sofa area. « The property was very well organised and looked after with the convenience of a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. The location in general pretty good, it is close to Coles and there is a pathway for a nature walk down the street. Only issue with the location is that the noise and beats from performances held at the tavern travel all the way to the accommodation so if you are an early sleeper, it might be an issue on the weekend. »

« I had a wonderful time! The house has a huge deck with views of Wallis Lake. I sat out there every day enjoying the sounds of birds etc. iIf raining there is an undercover section. Close enough to enjoy short drives to all the places around like Seal rocks, SmithsLake, Nabiac etc.There is a massive back yard that my dog enjoyed. « The Cob House is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, an exemplary example of just how little we need to be happy. The host and all the animals about were incredibly welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better break from work, the close small towns offer charm and welcoming locals and if you are up for chasing waterfalls, there are so many in driving distance though some might require a decent trek. 100% recommend! »

« We were two couples and two Shetland Sheepdogs, who stayed for two nights. we will most defiantly be booking again, our only complaint being that we did not book to stay longer. Thank you Melissa for making us so welcome in your beautiful home. We felt very spoilt with home made bread, dog treats, and such a very warm welcome. « We really enjoyed our week at Lakeview Lodge. The home was very comfortable and clean. The sunsets from the balcony were beautiful. The home is close driving distance to numerous fantastic beaches. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. »
