Spacious home in Lancaster County PA with awesome backyard

Beautiful and spacious home on a peaceful wooded lot in Lancaster County. There’s something for everyone in this warm and welcoming home of over 4800 sq ft with 4 bedrooms plus another bedroom / office and a basement rec room. This family friendly home is loaded up with upgrades and outstanding features. The first floor boasts a dramatic entry foyer with hardwood floors and an oak tread staircase, custom detailed woodwork throughout. Its hard to describe how truly beautiful this home is.

There is a spacious eat in kitchen which includes granite counters, large dining room and a morning room leading to the backyard patio. First floor living room features a gas fireplace and new La-Z-Boy furniture set. There is also a study / bedroom on the first floor with a twin bed. The kitchen comes equipped with high end appliances, blender and a Keurig coffee maker combo for pods or grounds (coffee pods supplied) for your use in addition to pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. A washer and dryer is provided in the first floor laundry room for your use. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are supplied.

The second floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Master bedroom has a King sized bed, sitting area and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and attached bathroom. Third bedroom has a queen sized bed and shares a Jack N Jill bathroom with the fourth bedroom which has a full (double) bed.

The luxurious finished basement has a family room with large TV, wet bar, powder room, pool table, work out room with a treadmill, and a queen sized pullout sofa bed

The awesome backyard features an outdoor living area complete with a fireplace (firewood supplied by host) patio, hot tub, beautiful landscaping and is completely fenced in.

Great house!!
This is our 2nd stay at John’s place and we intend to continue making it an annual visit! It’s centrally located near many things to do in Lancaster County and close to conveniences as needed. The home is immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. We would recommend for those traveling as a family or with a group of friends. We love this home and enjoy working with the owners very much. Thanks for a great stay!

Large homes with lots of amenities
We were a group of four adults and four kids and there was definitely enough space for everyone to comfortably enjoy the house. Kids would play downstairs in the basement, while the adults enjoyed the expansive open concept kitchen/living room. Kids also enjoyed the hot tub on multiple days, parents enjoyed the fireplace and we also grilled one of the nights. Beds are extremely comfortable, too! Would stay here again!

Perfect Family Meetup
We recently stayed at a beautiful house in Gap, and it was the perfect retreat for our family of 11! The space was just right, providing us with the peace and quiet we needed to reconnect. The home itself was lovely, with all the amenities we could ask for. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the backyard fireplace, which made for cozy evenings together. The grill was a great addition for family cookouts! We were in town for the James Albright Memorial Golf Tournament at Moccasin Run Golf Course, and this house served as a fantastic gathering place for our family coming in from New Jersey and Ohio. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Our group of 9 ladies enjoyed our stay at this home. It is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of backyard amenities. This is a custom built home with lots of upgrades. The open living space concept was great for a group and allowed for lots of conversation. We would definitely stay here again.

Three generation family trip
This was a wonderful home for our family vacation. Very clean, very well stocked. Lots of space both inside and out, for whole group activities, talking and eating. Also numerous spaces for small groups or alone space. Good communication with host during visit. Excellent WiFi, one person was working part of the time we were there. Backyard fenced but also trees blocking views of other properties - great for playing and also family photo session. Felt pleasantly secluded, but it wasn't.

Fantastic property in the heart of Amish country!
We loved the area and scenery. Close to Dutch Wonderland for our little ones. The home was perfect for our large family with the whole range of ages. The outdoor space was amazing and the host was very accommodating with our wanting to use a baby pool/slip n slide. A few minor maintenance issues, like loose toilet paper holder and a broken bed slat, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Absolutely loved our stay! Thanks John!!

Large Lancaster County Home in quiet location
If you are looking for a large home in a quiet location this is the place for you! The four upstairs bedrooms and three full baths easily accommodate 8 adults. There is an additional bedroom and powder room on both the first and lower levels. The outdoor space is quite comfortable for enjoying casual breakfasts and evening chats around the fireplace.

House was incredible, very clean, well maintained, perfect for our large family. Any odds and ends that we thought we might need to get or bring were also in the home. The house was very comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for the toddler to move around. We had a rainy weekend, so were not able to enjoy the outside fireplace or patio. There was a lot I liked about the listing, but the two king beds and one queen bed made the decision for me. Again, the upstairs rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Book it, it's perfect!
We traveled to John's place with our (almost) 2 year old son and his grandparents. The first person to arrive immediately texted me and said "this house is perfect! I want to live here!" - which basically sums up the visit. It was perfect for all ages (2 to 80!) and is far better than the photos even can show. We had hardly any babyproofing to do and it was quickly safe for our son to explore. The floor plan on the first floor was great for keeping eyes on him and for keeping everyone in the group included. It was perfectly clean, easy check-in and check-out and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were a great layout for large groups and we were even able to use the closet in the master for our son's pack and play because it was so big. The backyard and basement set up lend to perfect spaces to hang out and relax. We cooked all our meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. There are plenty of televisions, games, and books to provide a variety of entertainment for everyone. The location was quiet and private while also being a short drive (20-30 mins) from most major attractions in the Lancaster area. I looked at several properties across several sites and couldn't be happier I chose this one. We plan to make the trip an annual tradition, in large part to how well the house worked for our group and how much fun we had.

Incredibly relaxing/absolutely beautiful!
We had a fabulous time! It was one of our most relaxing vacations ever. The house and grounds are stunning. There are so many gorgeous details everywhere you look. It was a delight to spend time in such a beautiful & comfortable environment. My husband and I enjoyed the views from so many of the rooms. It truly was a delight! My brother joined us, for one night, on his way down to FL. We’re glad he could meet up with us, which gave him a break from his long drive. Thanks, John, for everything! The Best in Comfort and Luxury!
Each Fall all the ladies in our family rent a home in Lancaster. We shop, cook, bake and enjoy the countryside. We have had wonderful rentals, but nothing can compare to this magnificent home. We expected a lovely rental but were blown away as soon as we opened the door! The home was spacious and clean with polished wood floors, comfortable furnishings and gorgeous architectural designs. Outdoors there was a hot tub, a wood burning fireplace and comfortable furniture. Indoors there was a gas fireplace to take the chill out of the cold autumn evenings. When we had questions, the property owner responded right away. We hope to return each year, making this our 'go to' lodging!

Beautiful home and location. The outdoor "family room, with fireplace," was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The WiFi worked perfectly for the folks who needed to work. Great place for a relaxing family "reunion" and trip to visit Winterthur and Lancaster area. Highly recommend.

Wonderful home - highly recommend
Property was beautiful and spacious. Had plenty of room to hang out with friends and family all together. Was stocked with everything you would need. Was even able to get in a couple hours early to drop off our things before heading to race track, which was very helpful. Very accommodating and would definitely recommend for a group get-a-way! Awesome everything!
My coworkers and I stay in the area every year for a convention. This house had everything we needed plus some! Everything there was spotless and top quality. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever had in a rental! The extras, hot tub, pool table, outdoor fire place, etc.. Made our stay perfect! I couldn't find any faults. Not only the house but everything inside was in excellent condition. This place will be my first choice for our stays in the future!
