« The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Extras included were a wine & cheese platter each afternoon and homemade cookies to finish the day. Both were unexpected delights! And breakfasts were generous AND delicious. The room was comfy cozy and a great place to pause and enjoy. We've stayed in B&Bs in Newport several times over the years and found the Hydrangea House (HH) to be an A experience. Thank you to Kim and her team at HH. »

« If you stay here, you are literally at the center of downtown. Clean rooms, friendly staff. You need to check in at 1661 down the road and they will store your bags on arrival/departure day. This is my second time staying here and I would again in the opportunity presented itself. You can’t go wrong at Hendrickson house! »

« Beautiful inn with very responsive staff. Loved the jacuzzi rooms and breakfast. The gas fireplace was perfect for a freezing day. Really great area, super quiet, and an easy walk to all the Newport shops and restaurants. »

« This property was perfect. Lovely hosts, great communication and location. Walk to beach and restaurants. Everything provided for kitchen, bed and bathrooms. Welcomed with a personally written card and nice surprise. Amy and Carl really care and it shows. Look forward to returning. Thank you. »

« This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B. »

« Excellent communication ... the house was perfect location! »

« It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. »

« Our stay in Newport was very comfortable in the three bedroom, two bath space. The kitchen and living room were just as pictured and in great shape. Parking across the street was a great bonus. The third bedroom (downstairs) was very spacious, but a bit drafty since it opened to an unheated storage area and outside. The second bath shower was tiny for my 6'3" frame. Great restaurants, and coffee shops close by. Chris is a wonderful host. »

"L’hotel est vraiment très chouette il a été remove avec gout! Il a’agot d’un grand resort. Il y a une salle de jeux et des jeux disposables dans les salons c’est tres agreeable. La chambre est belle et spacieuse "
