« The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck. »

« A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly. »

« The cottage was the perfect place for our small team to set up a 'home base' while working in the area. The location was perfect, the cottage was clean and well kept. The host was great, very responsive, and even checked in on us during a passing tropical storm to ensure everything was ok. I would highly recommend! »

« We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no...

« Was not happy with getting the house code the day of our visit. We were out of cellphone range a lot and worried about getting it in time. Also, what happens if the owner had an emergency and could not get us the info? It was a bit too much stress for me. Location and home was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the stay after we got there. »
