« Superbe endroit pour relaxer, tres beau sentier bien entretenu pour marcher au bord de l eau. Toutefois , le brouillard persistant a assombri notre sejour. Mais on a pas de pouvoir sur la nature. Grande Maison centenaire avec beaucoup de commodites. Ouf quelle vue ! »

« The location of this property was spectacular. We were able to walk the beach just steps from the door. The house was very comfortable. There was an adequate supply of bottled water to overcome the piped water which smelled off. We loved our stay. »

« We just returned from a week's stay at this place. It really is peaceful and relaxing. It was in a perfect location, close to family. Everything we needed was available. Martin and family are wonderful people. We will definitely return again. Thanks for a fantastic holidy. »

« The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck. »

« A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly. »

« Very comfortable. Jon and Marcie are great - very responsive. There is plenty of in-house entertainment for bad weather days and our dogs give it a 5-star review as well. »

« The cottage was the perfect place for our small team to set up a 'home base' while working in the area. The location was perfect, the cottage was clean and well kept. The host was great, very responsive, and even checked in on us during a passing tropical storm to ensure everything was ok. I would highly recommend! »

« Très belle vue,les chambres à coucher sont confortables et propres, la salle de bain aurait besoin de changement de bain, et une 2ieme salle de bain au rez-de-chaussé serait un atout et finalement un peu de rangement dans les placards et la salle de lavage. « What a great little farmhouse! Absolutely everything that we needed was available, well stocked! Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Private location - had a nice visit from a squirrel and some deer! Loved all the wood furniture details. The wood stove was so cozy, was all setup for us when we arrived. « We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no...

« The location and natural surroundings were stunning. We loved the view, the sound of the waves, and the tranquility. The beach, decks, and exterior furniture were fantastic. Large windows let in so much light, and the WiFi was strong enough for remote work. However, there are some issues. The second bed is just a mattress on the floor, and the first bed was uncomfortable, causing back pain. Basic cooking supplies were minimal, and cell service is spotty.
