« My son wanted to visit the OBX beaches and Jockey Ridge my parents wanted to relax and unwind. The house was perfectly located between everything we wanted to do. It is just as described and very clean. The house was stocked with necessities and the host, Yvonne, had fresh flowers, chocolates, and a postcard upon our arrival making us truly feel at home. I can’t wait to book again!! »

« This was an interesting place to stay. It depends on what you are looking for in a vacation housing location. This place is a converted garage unit turned into a one room condo. It was clean and was not as bad as it sounds. This unit was in a complex of multiple buildings and is in the middle of about 6 other places to stay. They did a very nice job converting it so it is pleasant and comfortable. It lacks windows, with the obvious downside of not being able to look out, but the upside of not...

Even in mid-October there were a number of stores abnd restaurants open. Plenty of places to walk and explore. Definitely plan to return. The unit was nicely furnished and appointed. « I arrived early and the property is in a very sketchy neighborhood. I'm going 5 stars for cleanliness, based on the pictures. I was traveling alone with my kids. There were panhandlers outside upon my arrival. Parking was also very limited. My SUV couldn't fit through the tiny lot. I was concerned enough to just leave and stay much further out with family. I contacted the owner to cancel, but I never heard back. $400 lost. :-( »

« Our family of 4 enjoyed a quiet time in the outer banks at this lovely beach house. November isn't exactly the time most folks visit the beach, but we've spent most of our lives in the far north, so the "chilly weather" didn't prevent us from enjoying kayaking in the inner channels and viewing the sunset from the crow's nest. We found the kitchen very adequate; we were able to cook a lovely thanksgiving dinner and ate quite well the entire time. We packed all our needs/food for the weekend so...
