GASLIGHT COTTAGE - Centre-ville de Hendersonville

Profitez de votre séjour dans ce charmant cottage en brique situé à quelques pas des nombreux magasins et restaurants de la rue Main dans le centre-ville historique de Hendersonville.

La maison comprend deux chambres avec un lit queen dans le maître et deux lits jumeaux dans la deuxième chambre. Il y a une salle de bain complète dans le couloir et un demi-bain hors du maître. Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée pour ceux qui aiment un repas préparé à la maison après une journée d'aventure dans les belles montagnes environnantes. La salle à manger dispose d'une grande table de ferme en pin de cœur artisanale pour les repas, jeux, puzzles ou jeux de cartes. Le salon offre de nombreux sièges pour regarder la télévision ou des films à partir d'une sélection de DVD. Il y a aussi une connexion Wi-Fi à la maison. Profitez de votre café du matin ou après le dîner dans la véranda attenante et surveillez l'écureuil blanc du quartier!

La cour arrière privée clôturée a une grande terrasse, un grill, une table de pique-nique et un foyer pour profiter des belles saisons des Blue Ridge Mountains. Un petit potager à déguster en saison. Les activités de la région comprennent le Flat Rock Playhouse, Carl Sandburg Home, Jump-Off Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate, Dupont State Forest, Sky-Top Orchard, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure et Asheville.
Il existe de nombreux sentiers de randonnée, de vélo et de marche. Il y a une entrée au sentier de marche et de vélo Oklawaha Greenway au bout de la rue qui relie trois parcs à Hendersonville. Le centre-ville d'Hendersonville propose de nombreux festivals et événements tout au long de l'année, ainsi que d'excellents restaurants, boutiques, brasseries et divertissements. Il y a toujours quelque chose à faire dans la ville historique d'Hendersonville.

Hendersonville baseball tournament / vacation
We were visiting Hendersonville for a baseball tournament and this location was perfect due to space and amenities needed for a family of 4z Also, the proximity to downtown Hendersonville and Jackson Park worked well. The property is well kept and very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a cute, fun house to enjoy with my three sisters! Very quiet neighborhood. Everything was spotless and comfortable. Easy to find and get around the area. Easy drive to downtown, Pisgah Forest, The Biltmore, and a few consignment stores. Would live there in a minute!

Nice place in a nice neighborhood
The host Morgan is great, very helpful and responsive for check-in, and -out. This place is conveniently located near downtown Hendersonville. The small kitchen is adequately provisioned, and there is laundry and other amenities. The layout of the house is interesting, which means it probably had a revision or two in its life. Overall highly recommended.

Awesome Stay
We have stayed at many rental properties and very picky when searching for a house. This has been by far the best experience we have had. The cottage was exactly as described, very clean, and felt like being at home. We didn't want to leave. Morgan was the best host. We are looking forward to visiting family in Hendersonville again soon and staying in Gaslight Cottage.

Love, love Gaslight Cottage!!!
I seriously can not recommend Morgan and Gaslight Cottage enough. Morgan has done an exceptional job with the cottage. It is beautifully decorated and you can tell much thought was put in to what one might possibly need during their stay. You can not ask for a better location either. It was so convenient to Downtown Hendersonville and a short drive to all the local must sees.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home. The cottage is nicely appointed and delightful. Morgan has thought of everything her clientele would need. We even had a gift basket awaiting us on the dining room table with a handwritten note welcoming us to the cottage. Gaslight Cottage is charming and a wonderful place from which to base your visit in western NC. We highly recommend it; we'll be back to this delightful gem!

Clean, well furnished and great location!
This is a great property. Check in was easy and Morgan was communicative about the process. The house is very laid out with mid century charm. Well decorated and furnished with everything you should need! Downtown Hendersonville and Asheville short drives away as well as many outdoor activities! We’ll make a point to stay here again when in the area!

Great family vacation!
We traveled with our daughters (ages 2 and 8 weeks) for vacation in the mountains for a week. Morgan is an accommodating and thoughtful host, providing just about everything you can think of to make the rental feel like a home. We especially enjoyed the fenced-in yard, proximity to the park/green space, and relative walkability to the downtown area (we are active so it wasn’t too far). We appreciate everything Morgan did to facilitate our trip and make it as easy as possible, and would recommend the home to couples and families alike.

Morgan has gone above and beyond to think of everything needed to make Gaslight Cottage feel like home. The fall leaves were amazing and our family enjoyed a week of fun, laughs and nature! We came home to a warm and comfy home that made the memories even better.

Spacious, comfortable home in an historic, quiet neighborhood.
Morgan is a host who wants you to feel at home and we certainly did. Loved the eclectic decor, the comfy bed, the sun porch for morning coffee, the private back yard. Short walk to a great bakery and a couple of good brew pubs. A bit further to lots of downtown restaurants. Also good freeway access. Great communication with super host.

Lovely home close to area attractions
This is a lovely older home in the historical district of Hendersonville. It is filled with lovely touchs and comfortable furniture. The walk to Main Street was about 10 minutes, and the Appalachian Brewery on Locust Street is even closer. Listened to some fine live music one weekend there. For the hikers- Pisgah Forest and DuPont Forest are an easy 20-30 minute drive. Asheville and the Biltmore a little farther but worth the drive. The house comfortably sleeps 4 with one queen and two twins. There is only one full bath but also a half bath. The back yard is delightful and there’s a gas grill which we did not use. Everything you need to prepare meals is there as well as a drip coffeemaker. The linens and towels are high end. I would hesitate to bring a toddler there as there are too many interesting decor items for them to resist😀. We walked the area at night and felt very safe. Quiet neighborhood- this is not a home for loud late night parties. Thank you Morgan for sharing this lovely home.
