Easy Downtown

Quaint little cottage near downtown and the hospital . It is about a mile away to the main highways to get around town. Nice privacy fence in the back yard. Covered patio area, grill The third room has a queen Murphy bed. Double vanity sinks in the master and two fireplaces. Large walk-in closet in the master bedroom. This home is fully furnished with linens, towels, kitchen items not including food, washer and dryer room.

Perfect little home
We rented this home for relatives coming in for our daughters wedding. Check in was simple and it was located in the perfect spot near everything but yet such a quiet place.

Overall the condo was nice and homey feeling until we realized the back door was unlocked and there was another building on the property located off the back porch area that someone was living in with several cats that had a pet door to go in and out as they pleased. The cats did not bother us but if you have a cat allergy I would not recommend staying here. It gave the feeling of having no privacy while on the back porch area. The front porch area has a very strong cat urine odor. There was also a load of mens clothing in the dryer and sheets in the washer. The first night there the neighbors had loud music playing at 2 am. Our second day staying there police were knocking on neighbors doors as we were leaving to attend a graduation ceremony. The condo inside was clean for the most part other then it appeared it hadn't been dusted in a while and there were several stains on the area rug in the living room. Everythig else seemed to be cleaned very well.

Wonderful Host & Home
The house was well described in the listing - loved all the Pioneer Woman kitchen items! We did see a few neighborhood cats as we came and went but there was no smell (as mentioned in other reviews) or problems with them. The host was extremely responsive when we were unable to find the TV remote control and very gracious. Unfortunately our trip got cut short but we would definitely stay here again when visiting the area in the future.

Close to downtown
Property was just as the listing described! It’s close to downtown and the wedding events we were attending! Kitchen is well equipped but no dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and showers worked fine. Master bath sink needs a repair on one side but towels were nice and plentiful. Good we had a group as I wasn’t sure of the neighborhood but all seemed quiet and several Rentals nearby! I would definitely rent again for a family group! Cats were NOT a problem at all but greeted us outside!

Lovely cottage visit
Within 15 minutes to all the attractions in Huntsville. Very clean, very comfortable and all the amenities of home. This 3 bed/2 bath with laundry, is a comfortable, quite place to stay with family or friends.

Didn't even complete my stay!
It takes a lot for me to complain and I honestly waited before I did a public review because I hoped to work this out with the owner but she has yet to respond to me. So, I felt it was best to let others know what this property was like. Here are the things I was not pleased with and as I felt, were not advertised properly in the beginning... - arrived after check-in time and they were still cleaning the house with no notification of that given to me ahead of time - bags of trash in the driveway that we had to point out to the owner as she was leaving - cat coming out of back gate, which was broken, and when we asked the owner if there were cats here, she said 'oh, there's cats all over here.' - upon entering the house, the cleanliness was fine, but when going out the back door to the patio that they show pictures of, I was hit with the smell of cat pee. Then, look down, and see a cat door that is 'boarded' up with cardboard box and duct tape on the inside and outside. My mother was able to barely press her foot on it and it was not secure. Let me also mention, I'm allergic to cats. - also in the back patio area was a cat climbing tower in an old greenhouse looking building - Then, I look behind the outdoor seating area and there is a building/garage on the property with the door open, I walk over and glance in and a tv is on to my surprise. No notification was made prior to rental that this would be what I would term a 'shared' outdoor space and we are two women by ourselves so that just would have been nice to know ahead of time. - I immediately called to inquire as to what the deal was with the building in the back area and who was there while also asking about whether cats have been in the house or not because I did not desire to relax inside and then all of a sudden have an allergic reaction. In addition, the outside area that is advertised, is I'm sure full of cat hair. These are not things I paid for and I feel as though should be disclosed prior to rental. - I called twice & messaged the owner but didn't hear back from her until an hour or so later. At that point, I had already rented a room at a hotel because I did not feel secure at that property considering the lack of attention to details that matter. - when the owner finally responded, she wasn't apologetic & just said who the person was living in the building behind the house & that he wouldn't bother us & that she's allergic to cats also and cats do not go in the house

TVs are ROKUs, so do some research for operating instructions.beforehand. Also, bring your own tissues and own shampoo and bar soap if you prefer it to Soft Soap. Sent email to owner asking about ROKU operation, but response was not until the next day. All picky comments, but attention to detail could go a long way.

Stayed Twice and Would Stay Again!
The house worked very well for both of our stays in Huntsville and was very comfortable. We loved the location (easy access to many places in the area & even some nice hiking trails only a couple minutes drive away.) Even though there was a big problem when we checked in for our second stay, the owner VERY quickly fixed the problem and did her best to make it all right. While I did have difficulty contacting the owner on the arrival day of our second stay, I do trust that she is going to improve in that area. If we happen to come to Huntsville again in the future, then we will surely try to book this place first.

Great Stay in Huntsville
This property had everything we needed. It could use a bit of updating, but it was a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed. The washer/dryer worked well. The internet was great! The location was very convenient for us. We will stay here again when returning to Huntsville to visit family. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely Christmas gathering.
This home was a perfect location and fit our needs well. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms meant each person had their own space. It was very cozy and allowed us to relax and just focus quality time since we couldn’t have quality time. Loved the electric fireplace in the master bedroom. We had an issue of not being able to adjust the temperature in the home. I requested information from the home owner to address the temperature (too hot at times) but did not get a reply. Also there was no soap in the bathrooms. Would have brought my own had I known it wasn’t provided.

This cute home with amazing and interesting decor was a great spontaneous stay for my family as our Thanksgiving plans changed very rapidly. Grateful for more space for our kids to explore and the model ships definitely captivated their attention!

This property was conveniently located to downtown, but still in a safe and welcoming neighborhood. Extremely clean with plenty of amenities. We will definitely stay again should we ever need to come back to Huntsville :)

Cute little house
This was a nice spacious house to stay in. We came in for a wedding so we were only there one night but there was plenty of room to spread out and the host was very accommodating. We didn’t have any trouble getting in and out and it was quiet and cozy.
