« We srived just before the huricqin made landfall and had to spend a few days more in the house then planed but this house had everything you could think of needing stocked, games/books, cooking items all amazing. »

« Wendy has done a great job of making the cottage pet friendly and she provides everything you need. The cottage is comfortable and there are board games, pet toys and a kitchen that holds all the items you need except the food to prepare a meal. The decorations are tasteful and not overdone. This is a very comfortable and charming place for a visit to Oak Island. »

« Family get together. My wife, my dog, and I stayed at the home. It was fantastic. Dog beds in every room and it had everything you needed for kitchen and bath. Our dog loved it. Will definitely plan on coming back again. »

« This was our second time staying. Perfect location for us. The beach and general store are across the street, as well as an ice cream shop. The house was clean and everything was just as described. Ms. Pat is an awesome host. My family and I are looking forward to possibly staying for our third time next year. »

The only real issue we had is the outdoor spicket to rinse off feet didn’t work and maybe just a few more towels but you do have a washer and dryer so…. « Lil Salty is the perfect beach house to really have a relaxing and fun beach vacation! The views are beautiful and really add to the enjoyment of the stay since you can constantly see the ocean. We loved ending our day on the beach just relaxing on the couch and watching the huge screen TV. The host couldn’t be any nicer or accommodating ! We will be back soon! »

« We decided to take the children to beach for a quick vacation before school starts. This house is the prefect size for our 4-person family. The rooms were big, bathrooms were perfect (we loved the ceiling showerhead in the master.) the kids loved the outdoor shower after a long day playing in the sand. There was no walking to restaurants or any other places. You could walk to the beach but it was a 15-20 min walk. It was not an issue for us to drive to a beach access spot. we have already talked...

« The pictures accurately reflect the home. Has great stained wood floors and a wonderful front screen porch. It sits on a quiet town block, located close to the better restaurants and the beach. The staircases from ground to main floor are long and pitched. Descending can be tricky . »

« The whole family had our first beach vacation in years and it was our first time to oak island. We loved the property, found it to be very quiet and clean. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no fan in the bathroom so it got a little warm in there after showers lol, but overall a great property and spot for families! »
