Charmante cabane sur 2,5 hectares à droite sur les rives du Big Cypress Bayou dans l'est du Texas, prête pour vous détendre et vous détendre! La cabine est directement sur la rivière, vous pouvez jeter dans la rivière depuis votre porte arrière! Ou allez au lac Caddo et louez un bateau. Si vous préférez faire du shopping, allez à Jefferson (15 minutes) et explorez les antiquaires et les restaurants. Wonderful Secluded Gem
This place is off the beaten path and really unique. This place can comfortably sleep 8 people and has plenty of outside deck area. Although we aren't fishers... This is a great place for people who fish. The grandkids loved the loft room and unique steps up to that room. The place was clean and had plenty of linens and beach towels. We had a great time.

House was great. Weather was bad for trip, but it was great to have a house to enjoy cooking and visiting. Do not recommend driving to house in the dark. Can be tricky.

Beautiful house
Couples getaway was wonderful. The deck, kayaks, games, and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked and arranged. The master bed and bathroom was amazing. Enjoyed coffee in the morning and evening drinks on the deck.

Labor Day weekend get a way
The house was amazing! Had all that we needed and more. My children loved the jet tub and fireplace heater. We loved catfishing off the dock and caught two four footers while we were there. Very exciting for kids. The Wi-Fi was spotty due to location but I loved it cause that’s why we went there to get away….we all got to sit together and watch a DVD in the evening. I loved cooking in the kitchen! Loved the gas grill and vent that raises from the island. We will plan a longer trip next time!

Very clean and right on the water!
Great location for a fishing trip! House was very clean and well stocked! Can even fish on the dock right outside your door! Home owner was great and easy to reach when we struggled a bit with Wi-Fi/internet. Had to use a hotspot to watch a Ranger game. House is not very far from Jefferson if you need some groceries. We will definitely be back in the future!

Quick Getaway!
We had so much Fun! We fished off the dock early in the morning, kayaked in the afternoon, and played games at night. The house has everything you need plenty of towels, paper towels, toiletries, dish washer tabs, anything you need. The other reviews said you needed a truck and that the road was bad? The road is fine to get to the house you could easily get there in small car. We will be back!

Their place is perfectly located. Well appointed and very comfortable. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful neighbor too. The only one there is. We were close to Jefferson and Caddo. Love the drive up to the cabin. Definitely a great place to stay.

Bayou Bliss
We chose this cute and well=appointed cottage to spend Christmas with our daughter and the only downfall was that it was very cold and we couldn't use the kayaks and other outdoor amenities. I made Christmas dinner easily in the large kitchen and we slept well on the comfortable beds. I also enjoyed a dip in the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. The frigid air warmed enough on our last night to enjoy the firepit outside. We also loved the nearby hiistorical town of Jefferson and we'll be back in warmer weather to explore, kayak and fish! Wonderful experience!

People, if you are looking for the perfect spot for a stay near Jefferson, look no farther. The home is equipped with everything you think you need and that everything is high quality. Serene and peaceful. Relaxing in every way. Can’t think of one negative.

Excellent getaway
The setup is everything you need! Just pack you bags, bring your food and all else is there. From cookware, coffee and the set up and even cooking spices on hand! Back shower was not available during stay, was backed up with dirt and water wouldn’t warm up but the other shower and two additional beautiful tubs worked just fine. We had quite a bit of rain on the last day, so owner allowed us to book another night just to enjoy relaxing to the sound of it and allowed us time just camp out in the main area and have a much needed family movie night. Wi-Fi was hit or miss for that area with the bad weather but was able to hook up hot spot from phones and had no issues! 10-10 recommend! Thank you for the great experience!

We loved the house it was just what we needed for a weekend getaway the only complaint was it was hot when we got there but turn the AC on it just took a while to cool down the house but it is summertime and we are in Texas!!

Country Life At it’s best
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful relaxing place to stay this is it ! Wi-Fi isn’t that great but I mean you will be in the country so what would you expect ? The cabin is beautifully decorated and very spacious . We did have a few issues but upon speaking to the owner she was very apologetic and was not aware of them . So if you want to feel “isolated” but just a few minutes to civilization this is the place .

Just a perfect setting
Our family celebrated our Mom’s 84th birthday. This was probably the best thing we have ever done. The house topped it with a great deck to visit while the guys fished. We all swam and kayaked. We are already planning another trip when it is cooler weather!

AWESOME LOCATION
Had a little difficulty getting the key to enter, but the owners made it up to us. The house and location are beautiful! We all enjoyed the kayaks and being one with nature. The house was clean and worked well with our grandchildren. Rooms are spacious - we had plenty of room for everyone.

Great getaway
My husband and I, our 3 kids (12,12,15) and my parents (69,72) stayed here for Easter weekend. The house was set up perfectly for our family. Plenty of space and bathrooms and we felt right at home. The deck and river access was amazing. We caught some small fish and a snapping turtle. My kids even braved swimming in the bayou! I think we found every kitchen utensil we needed for all our meals aside from a spaghetti server spoon. We spent time in Jefferson and Uncertain and had a great time. Really recommend the walking ghost tour and Will at Johnson Ranch Marina was a great tour guide. Went to the animal refuge and loved exploring the old bunkers and buildings.

My wife absolutely loved this place...the solitude, the bayou in the backyard, listening to the frogs after a rainstorm. I enjoyed catching catfish off of the dock. Jefferson is about 15 minute drive. We went there to tour the city and to stop at the local Brookshires to purchase groceries. Caddo Lake State Park is about 25 minute drive. Quite convenient. My only gripe was that the kitchen counter lights were all burnt out. So, to work at the sink while cooking or doing dishes, we had to wear camping headlamps. Though it worked, it would have been nicer to have working lights. To get to the house, you have to take a 3 mile trip down a road that is a mix of loose gravel, loose concrete and sometimes just dirt. Since we don't have a car that has a high wheel base - such as a Jeep or truck - we would drive 15-20 mph to make sure we didn't kick up rocks or drive into a pot hole.

Need a break? Look no further..
My family took a much needed break between holidays and this property has it all. Enjoyed the big kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable bed rooms. Outside deck was great, caught a few fish and made s'mores by a campfire while watching the stars. We're already making plans to come back this Sping!
