Decent location, good views and clean.
The studio property is well located, has wonderful views of the ocean and is clean. My only issue was with the lack of AC. Despite the location and keeping doors windows open, it was quite warm at night - not much of a cross breeze. The fans provided helped minimally.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! We come to Kauai every year and this has been our favorite place so far, we definitely will be staying here again in the future. Perfect location, great size for the two of us, phenomenal views - we loved hearing the waves every morning and night! Highly recommend!

The suite is small but has everything that you need. A shopping area is only a couple of minutes walk away. It is an easy drive to all of the wonderful beaches on the island. We loved the beach right infront of the suite. It has a pooled area that is great for children or those who just want a quick dip in the water but just down the beach is also a great swimming area for those who want to play in the waves.

Fantastic location, cute and well-appointed condo
The condo is oceanfront and feels very private -- for the price, it is a great value. The condo is small but comfortable. Bathroom is tiny, but shower is comfortable. Everything you need to go to the beach including towels, chairs, umbrella, and the kitchen is well-appointed. And Kapa'a is in the center, so you can anywhere on the island in a reasonable amount of time. We really enjoyed our stay there.

All's well
Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the ocean "white noise" and friendly chickens outside our window. Stairs not the best for octogenarians, but we were aware of that. Unit entry code worked exactly as it should, although pool code didn't. We didn't know how to use dish washer so washed dishes by hand. Younger people probably have no problem with such modernization.

1st Kauai visit
This property is located in a fairly central part of the island with an easy drive to beaches, hikes attractions and dining. This fit our needs to have a place to sleep and fix a few meals to save a little money. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. There are no spices of any type so you will need to supply these yourself. The listing says there is a 12 cup coffee pot, but there is only a 5 cup pot. We drink a lot of coffee so we had to make multiple pots, but not a big deal. There is a laundry facility on site. It is $3 for the washer and $3 for the dryer. There are also beach chairs and an umbrella for your use. Parking is a little tight. Pool area is very nice with gas grills. There is a nice market close by and a Safeway grocery store a short drive, maybe a mile or 2 away. We would consider staying here again if we were to visit island in the future.

Excellent mid-point condo
This condo is pretty much the middle of the highway system on the island, so it was the same drive time to either end of the road. There were plenty of places to eat within a short walk of the condo. There was a tide pool right below the site and a group of turtles swimming nearby as well. Condo was clean and met our needs perfectly and had adequate cooking utensils to meet our cooking requirements during our stay.

Gorgeous Ocean Views
The place is beautiful. King bed is comfy & so pretty! The view is spectacular! I love the sweet doves that visit. A couple of things: no brown towels as listed to clean shoes and the outside stairs are gross. Overall a gorgeous setting with very friendly staff and lovely accommodations. Great location
Great location and views. Comfortable room for short stays. Convenient for getting around the island (by car) and decent grocery store within 3 minutes walk. Facilities in the room are basic, so be sure to bring any little luxuries from home. But overall, really enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future.

The unit was good and clean and the views from the terrace are excellent. The condo is also really nice. The only thing that i can say is that the apartment and furniture are a bit old. But in general i recommend it and would stay here if i come back.

Our unit was as small as a hotel room, but it was clean, beautifully decorated, quiet, and had everything we needed! The view is of the pool, lush grounds, and the glorious ocean beyond. Our host Val was easily accessible and helpful! Absolutely would stay there again for short stays! 😊

The room was exactly as pictured. It was clean, had a view of the Ocean, and it was in a convenient location. My one suggestion is for them to stock up the bathroom with more toilet paper ahead of time especially since the property manager doesn't live nearby.

Great accommodations!
This location has a beautiful view and is right next to coconut market which has good restaurants and shopping! Would recommend staying here! We did notice a little bit of a musty smell in the room but this resolved with opening the patio door and changing the setting on the AC.

My wife and I spend very little time in rooms when we travel. So we don’t look for much more that a cheaper room that’s clean an comfortable. This reached those expectations plus. It is not spacious but very adequate.

Beautiful Property
We truly enjoyed our stay here and it overshot my expectations. The room is clean, beautiful sunlight, and great view of the ocean. No full kitchen, but there is a mini fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. The beach towels and beach chairs were very nice to have. FYI, this room is on the third floor with no elevator access. The property ground is green and luscious and enjoyable for morning stroll. Great beach access as well. Beach is more for hanging out, not much of snorkeling. However, this beach is a special place for us because we got engaged on this beach during our stay! There is a cute poolside bar with happy hour from 6-8 PM. Overall very nice vibe. Save your money on those expensive resorts and stay here instead!

This was the perfect property for our first trip to Kauai. Very clean, very comfortable, great view. The location made sense because we went one direction one day, then the other direction the next. Also. It was close to the airport. Wish we had found Lava Lava Beach Club earlier because it would have been great for breakfast. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub after hiking. Havent seen that many stars in a long time! The rooster crowing at 1:30 am was annoying. Thank you for letting us stay at your property!

Lovely Condo
We were very happy with the condo and location. The close proximity to the Coconut Market mall was fabulous because of its grocery store and restaurants. Since the room is small and comes with only a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a toaster, cooking was not an option and close-by restaurants are a must. We have two negative comments. First, this condo is located on the third floor, which means A LOT of stairs to climb, and they are carpeted outdoor stairs that are quite steep. Had we known "309" really means it's a third floor walk-up, we probably would not have booked, and if this was a hotel we would have definitely asked for a room on a lower floor. Carrying up luggage was particularly difficult with no one to help, and the climb kept us from coming and going as often as we would have done with fewer stairs. Second, the Aston property makes it abundantly clear that this VRBO rental is not part of their service, so we did not get any information about the amenities of the facility (particular the pool area) and did not really feel particularly welcome as guests. The property manager for this VRBO condo was very helpful by phone, but we were really on our own for laundry and trash disposal and figuring out the amenities of the resort with no help from the front desk. This was much smaller and less of a functional apartment than we expected from other rentals in Hawaii, but the upside was that it helped us to slow down and relax in beautiful Kauai.
